Kim is a great waitress and she always takes care of her customers. I used to stop in a lot when I worked in the area and I sure miss it. The Dagwood breakfast sandwich is the best in town.

Unfortunately, it was very mediocre food. I ordered delivery. Potatoes are not even cooked. They have a choice of potatoes and I picked “crispy hash brown”. Nothing is crispy about it and it doesn’t even taste like it has salt on it. The biscuit is better at McDonalds. This is a bummer.

Ordered through Uber eats. The breakfast burrito was awful. I would expect egg to be the primary ingredient. This one appeared to have less than 1 egg in it. Most of the filling was very greasy, oily hash browns and ham. So greasy that it was leaking out of the tortilla. It was gross. I took two bites and threw it away. Do better. Much better.

I see a lot of posts on this place so I tried it out. I was excited but my experience didn’t turn out so great. The French Toast was lacking flavor, pretty bland. The service from Kim was great. She was kind and attentive. I think she was embarrassed the booth was still dirty. The restaurant is kinda run down, looks pretty dated and the floors and my booth seat were dirty. It was not busy, they had a lot of employees so I don’t know why the floor wasn’t at least broom swept. Their sausage and home fries were pretty good. Coffee was average. I’d try it again one day, but not anytime soon. Hopefully it gets a face lift soon.

This is a wonderful, old school diner experience! We enjoyed the biscuits and gravy, hashbrowns and crispy bacon. The service was friendly and quick. They were busy for a cold Monday morning!!!

Everything about this place is awesome! We had breakfast and the they made me pancakes with pecans and blueberries. That’s not an item on the menu but they were happy to do that for me. Plus, the pancakes were so big I took half the order home for breakfast the next morning.

I live in Texas, but when I go back to KC I’m going to Dagwoods!

This is a small diner so expect that packed, excited, loud atmosphere. The food was amazing. We had the apple cobbler waffle special, French toast, and pancakes. Bacon was cooked perfectly. High praise to the staff who kept diners moving in/out and not missing a beat with service. Y’all front ladies deserve the highest praise. Love it here. Will return when in town!

Such a great old time nostalgic diner. Waitress staff are so friendly makes me rethink how I treat people. Food is top notch. Some of the best biscuits and gravy I’ve had. Lots to look at and appreciate in an old place like that.

Nice little mom and pop place to grab a bite to eat. Very friendly staff and fast service. I had the breaded tenderloin which was perfectly cooked and tender. The breading/tenderloin could have used just a little bit more seasoning but still tasted very good. I got the side basket of fries and onion rings which were also perfectly cooked. Obviously a local diner with staff and patrons who know one another but as a stranger I felt welcomed and comfortable. If you’re in the area I highly recommend stopping in and getting a bite to eat.
