Everything was great in the place. There was no wait and server was really nice. Talks a little too fast but nice. Son got the beef brisket rice dish and came out in a nice golden tray/dish. Looks great. Wife and I got the soup and the way they served the soups kept it nice and hot the whole time we were eating. Beware the soup is mouth ripping soul cleansing hot. Taro and milk teas are good too.

Newly renovated dining area, super friendly servers.

I enjoyed all the food except the cross-bridge rice noodles. To me, cross-bridge rice noodles are supposed to have really oily and heavy chicken broth as soup base. The heavy chicken broth not only give cross-bridge rice noodles its rich flavor and creamy texture, but also helps keep the noodle warm (enough to cross the bridge. That’s exactly why it’s named like that). This on the other hand, is more like a regular rice noodles, just served in a heated pot. The taste is not bad though, it’s just not reaching my standards of cross-bridge rice noodles, sorry.

I visited this restaurant twice during a recent business trip. The space is clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were consistently friendly and attentive, checking in periodically to ensure we had everything we needed.

The menu is extensive, offering a wide range of rice noodle dishes, appetizers, and shareable plates drawn from various regional Chinese cuisines. Overall, the food is satisfying and flavorful, with generous portions and solid execution.

That said, a few dishes appeared to be premade and reheated, which affected the texture and overall experience. The Salty Crispy Chicken, for example, lacked the crispiness its name suggests, while the Lamb BBQ Skewers were missing the expected charcoal-grilled flavor and leaned overly sweet, even at a higher spice level.

Despite these minor shortcomings, the dining experience was enjoyable, and most dishes delivered on taste. It’s a solid option for casual Chinese fare with a broad selection.

This location in Cleveland is on the corner, just a stone’s throw from the Asian mall and Asian groceries at Park to Shop. It is very nice looking inside, very clean, and seems spacious inside. A curious, pleasant smell of food cooking wafted all around that I did not recognize.
The drink menu listed many different boba teas, milk teas, and different mixes. The Taro was very good, even better than I’ve had anywhere. The Dagu coffee milk tea was quite strong and on the bitter side, not too friendly for a good first impression.
The food menu was not easy to understand as English was used sparsely, and it was not that similar to the generic Asian menus you see everywhere. So, my daughter picked from one of the pictures, and it turned out to be quite a lot, and different than anything I’ve had. It was like a pot of soup actually boiling with cabbage and meat. Noodles and rice were presented as well. My wife picked a pork dish that came breaded with some other vegetables which she chose, and also some spices and sauce which were very tasty with the meat and rice.
It was a unique and pleasant experience for us, and all three of us had plenty to eat from the 2 food orders.

(2025 Update)
YYTime (formerly known as Dagu) is an excellent example of consistency. The location can change, the name can change, but over these many years the food quality has never changed. It even gets better with the extended menu. Normally restaurants don’t do well when they expand their menu selection, but YYTime just gives me more reasons to love and keep coming back. The new braised items and BBQ options are delicious and great for big groups. Now I can come here for any occasion – quick trip for boba and snack, small meal for lunch, or big family dinner.

(2021 update)
Before covid19, this was my favorite to-go spot. I would usually come for a bowl of noodle after a long work day. The staff is very friendly and the food is super delicious. I love most of their menu items, especially the noodle with bone-in beef or fish slice.
Since covid19, they updated their milk tea menu extensively and it has become my favorite place to grab snack & desert. Brown sugar milk tea, matcha, oolong milk tea adding a bunch of toppings such as boba, tofu pudding, taro balls are to crave for. Side a boba tea with their pumpkin pancake, fried sticky rice, chicken wings or sliced beef in chilly oil and it’s the most perfect snack ever.

Extremely great experience. Perfect service and fresh rice bowl / hot pots. The appetizers of sliced beef in chili oil with peanuts was surprisingly good( surprising because beef was cold a served cold). Also the salted chicken app was good. Maybe needed some sauce?!

Will return soon. Check out pics

A nice family run spot for rice noodles. The booth of the noodles will be served when it was super hot and you would have to put all the toppings and noodles into the soup on your own. Pretty authentic, the rice noodles tasted good, but just the quality of meat was average. Owner of the restaurant was friendly and obviously customers become friends with the owner. Also bolba milk tea is available too and it tastes good.

Is it mini-hotpot? I think so. Dagu has blessed our wicked Cleveland streets with great authentic Asian cuisine. The level of quality they put into each dish will make any lover of broth raise their brows in approval. Not only are the food options amazing but their boba options are just as good. Original I came just for the the boba actually. Cups are cute and Instagram worthy. Makes a great place for a lunch date with your significant other or a friend that owes you one because you dumped on him on apex. Atmosphere is decent. Nothing to write home about, but is very clean which is always a win. Bathroom could use some work tho. Not the cleanest bathroom but at least it works. In short come eat here.
