A quaint little haunt with excellent and authentic food. It brought me back to Berlin in an instant. The staff are knowledgeable, kind, and accommodating. My only gripe is that they aren’t open later! Will definitely come again.

If your dentist removed your sweet tooth, Dagmar’s can get them reinserted! I was fortunate enough to have a coworker bring some of their coconut cheese strudels in and I immediately set aside time to visit! Tried the breakfast sausage sandwich, peach strudel, and cinnamon roll. The sausage is well seasoned and the sandwich quite filling. The pastries are delectable with just the right amount of sweetness and not over the top. The peach strudel was quite good, but I personally crave the cheese filling now and will be back for more… And lunch!

Went here with my dad and we ordered the
Schnitzel Brotchen – 7/10 was missing a bit more flavor but the meat was fried prefectly.
Jagerschnitzel – 9/10 was really good just missing some Parsley on top.
German potato salad – 7/10 good bacon flavor.
I lived in Bavaria for 6 years so all of this was super familiar to me and tasted like home. The store section is great good mustard and meat selection.
Highly recommend trying them out.

Great little German bakery! We tried a blueberry strudel, the Schnitzel Breakfast, and some cookies. The Breakfast was delicious! The hey somehow made green chilis and brown gravy work. The blueberry & cheese strudel was honestly one of the best pastries I’ve ever eaten. We will be back!

Stopped in and got a Cinnamon Roll and a Blueberry/Cream Strudel. Both were super delicious. They have a great variety of flavors. Didn’t have any of their lunch items, but they looked amazing. Right now it seemed a little cramped, and I didn’t get to see their dining space. However, service was great. Definitely going back.

Great place with German food take out, meats in the fridge and delicious pastries either by a piece or to buy whole. Definitely worth the drive out there. If you want a local flavor treat, you should try the green Chile and Apple strudel or the raspberry red Chile strudel. They are both amazing if you are brave enough to try them.

I’ve been here a few times and the baked goods are always fresh, sweet and savory. They don’t always include prices on everything so you’re surprised when you end up paying $40+ for a few pastries. I enjoyed their food and wanted to support local businesses so I didn’t mind paying that price however due to my last experience, I won’t be returning. For Valentine’s Day we went to the bakery to satisfy our sweet tooth. They had several strudels with only the chocolate flavor strudel having a sign with the price of $20. I only brought $40 cash with me. We finally decided on the strawberry and cream cheese strudel. The middle aged woman that cashed us out, a red haired woman, told me the total was $32 and change. I asked her about the sign that said $20 and she said that was only the chocolate kind of strudel. I was enjoying looking at the other pastries and didn’t realize I had only handed her a $20. She didn’t say anything, she looked at me coldly then said again it’s $32. That was my fault but I gave her the other $20. She handed me the change without a word. No thank you or have a nice day. No basic customer service skills. So you know Dagmar, we can go get pastries anywhere. Local business owners should be grateful. Needless to say, I went to Delectable Baking Co this weekend and the pastries were better.

I had come across Dagmar’s online while looking for bakeries—been eating my way across ABQ and Rio Rancho—and I walked out of there with dinner tonight. Service is friendly and impressive. They knew most folks walking in the door, I was odd man out but treated the same.
I went in for a cake. I walked out with some of the most beautiful real strudel I’ve seen in years. I also left with a German Chocolate cake (not German, doesn’t matter, it’s gorgeous), knackwurst, bratwurst, bread dumplings, red cabbage, German potato salad, and I’m going to need someone to wheel my big back around after this one.
They had a variety of breads, sauerkraut, German groceries, wursts, mortadella, you name it. Go through that freezer case carefully. You may miss something.
I’ll be back, without a doubt. I have one happy family tonight.
