We had an amazing dinner here and I can’t recommend it enough! Every dish we ordered was flavorful.

Pad See Ew was easily my favorite! The service was fast, and the staff was so incredibly nice and friendly. Beyond the food, I absolutely loved the vibes; the warm lighting and industrial decor create such a cool, inviting atmosphere. If you’re looking for top-tier Thai food with a great mood to match, this is definitely the spot!

DAGG Thai NYC was honestly such a great dining experience. From the moment the food started coming out, you could tell a lot of care goes into both the presentation and the flavors.

We started with the scallops and they were perfectly seared, tender, and paired beautifully with the fresh herbs and sauce. The crispy fried shrimp was golden and crunchy on the outside and juicy inside, especially dipped in the sweet chili sauce. The whole fried fish was one of my favorites. The skin was crispy, the meat was moist, and the herbs and chilies on top gave it that perfect Thai balance of fresh, savory, and a little spicy.

The steamed duck was incredibly tender and full of flavor. It was moist without feeling heavy and just really comforting overall. The duck curry was rich and creamy with just the right amount of heat. Everything felt well thought out and nicely executed. Dessert was also a great way to end the meal, light, not too sweet, and beautifully plated.

The service was warm and attentive, and we felt taken care of the entire time. Overall, I would definitely come back. If you are looking for elevated Thai food in NYC with great flavors and a welcoming atmosphere, DAGG Thai is worth visiting.

Great Thai restaurant in NYC! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We especially loved the wagyu dish and the coconut shrimp. The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, perfect for a casual dinner or a date night. Service was friendly and attentive. Would definitely come back!

Had to try Dagg Thai after two people raved about it — one foodie friend, and even a spa staff from Thailand!

Biggest surprises were the humblest-looking dishes:
Crab Roll – crispy tofu skin with sweet savory filling and real crab meat inside.
Dagg Haeng Noodle – QQ rice noodles with peanuts, beans, and crispy pork.

Their signatures also stand out:
Fried Branzino – crispy fish with sweet glaze, feels festive.
Squid – stuffed with salted egg yolk & noodles, served with refreshing spicy sauce.
Scallop Bite – served in betel leaf, fresh and tasty.

Great spot for group meals — near Bryant Park, easy to get to. Plus, tons of bakeries nearby (Heritage, Ole & Steen, Lady M…). Perfect for a weekend treat!

Absolutely delicious authentic Thai food! The chicken krapow (with green beans, basil, Thai red chili peppers) is a classic dish you can find on the menu of most Thai restaurants all over the country, but this restaurant’s chicken krapow is my favorite: it’s neither too sweet (which is perfect!) nor too salty; the chicken is perfectly soft and not overly chewy; the green beans are fresh and crunchy; the Thai red chilis are thinly sliced into elliptical rings and perfectly cooked down and released their delicious spice into the sauce. If you love spicy authentic Thai food, this restaurant is perfect for you!

The service here is very fast and food came out quickly. We were able to walk in without a reservation and only waited about 10 minutes for bar seats on a very busy Saturday night. Reservation is recommended. They have weekday lunch specials, and also a daily special menu. I’ve been to lots of Thai restaurants in the city and this one clearly stands out with its high quality authentically spicy and freshly made Thai food.

Food was delicious!! The dessert (taro puff) was truly a standout. I wish the basil entree was more saucy, but it was delicious and very spicy. Appetizers were yummy and drinks were so fresh and smooth and well mixed. It seemed on the pricy side at first, but for 2 apps, 3 entrees, 2 rounds of drinks, and a shared single dessert, AND tip, we paid around $90/pp so I’d say that’s a good deal for manhattan. Service was good, I wish they were more attentive towards the end of service, but food came out quickly and they replaced our silverware between apps and entrees. Would definitely come back!!

This place really is a solid 3 stars for me. However, I hate it when a spot decides to give themselves a 20% tip automatically. It’s a bit of a slap in the face. I tip normally, especially when service is on point. Otherwise, I’m not responsible for paying your staff.

Came here with 6 friends. Two more friends came toward the very end and just picked up a drink on their own tab.

We ordered a few appetizers: scallop app, the crab roll was really good, coconut shrimp was good…. We got their beef salad and the fried papaya salad…

I ordered their duck dish. That was pretty good. It has the right amount of spice. We ordered a few different drinks. Everyone seem to love the Tamerand drink.

Overall the food was ok. It was a bit more on the sweeter side than expected. Didn’t really like that. Service was ok. The place was busy so I guess it was as good as it was gonna be. Really just pissed me off assuming we should tip 20% or expecting anyone to tip at all….

The restaurant looks popular with their own goods and even the candy with their own name printed. There was also long waiting line. We made a reservation in advance but we had to wait extra ten minutes.

I had shrimp Pad Thai but I felt it a little fishy. The other beef curry and beef noodle my colleagues ordered were a bit salty.

I would like to try other cuisines such as Tom Yang Kung again.

What a surprisingly amazing restaurant! The atmosphere is fantastic, and I love the color scheme of the whole place. The drinks are delicious, and you absolutely *must* order the Nuer Yang! It’s an excellent beef dish, easily surpassing many professional steak restaurants. I loved every single dish tonight! The staff were also incredibly cute and friendly, recommending their signature dishes to us. Thank you so much!
