I have been here many times and will continue to come back! The meat quality is very good and I love that the staff grill if for you. The side dishes might even be better than the meat. There are tons of side dishes that come out – salads, steamed egg, soybean soup, kimchi, etc. Every single one delicious! The service is really nice and quick to get the meat grilling and they come by and refill the side dishes right away when we ask. I love coming here for KBBQ!

Lunch was great, especially the honeycomb pork belly and marinated pork galbi, which came in generous portions. I appreciated the smart service, where the galbi was cooked on a separate table to keep things moving. Complimentary soup, steamed eggs, and a variety of banchan added to the meal’s value. The staff was attentive, though their demeanor could have been warmer. Its proximity to H-Mart is a huge bonus!

A food-loving family member recommended this place, claiming it was one of his favorite spots for Korean BBQ. His hot tip: this restaurant is BYOB, so hop into the liquor store (inside the Hmart complex) next door to grab some soju and beer before settling in for some grilled meats.

There are some plated dishes on the menu but with grill covers in the middle of every table, it’s clear this is a restaurant meant for Korean BBQ. The pork belly was incredible with decent grill-kissed char marks. The marinated beef was tasty but a little tougher than I prefer. I love all the free side dishes that came with our meat orders, especially the soybean stew and towering egg soufflé.

Service is brisk and efficient..sort of. This is the sort of place where servers hover with their order pads soon after you settle down, expecting you to just know what you want. Since this is a full-service BBQ, our server came around frequently to grill, cut, or flip or meats. After all was eaten and done, it become mysteriously difficult to flag her down for our cheque.

A side note about ordering: there’s a two-portion minimum for meats. My husband and I don’t eat much so we thought we’d split a single order of pork belly, but our server insisted we needed to order at least two servings.

I went here with my boyfriend and felt a bit out of place. However, I wouldn’t suggest going here due to their tipping requirements. The woman followed me out of the restaurant for a tip – mind you, I had already paid $ 88. The miscommunication was very bad. I had tried to tell her I wanted to pay $ 34 for one pork belly, but she said it came with two, and I ended up with almost two servings of pork belly. Keep in mind I kept asking if the price range would stay the same and she said yes 2 pork belly bbq. At the end the price wasn’t bad, it was the anxiety I felt when she followed me out after I paid. She made me feel like I didn’t pay, and it was very nerve-wracking. I don’t recommend them because of how needy they are with tips! The food is good but avoid it if you don’t want to be chased out!

The pork ribs and black pork belly BBQ are delicious. They also serve steamed egg and side dishes, and the staff grills everything for you, so we always enjoy a great meal. The restaurant is clean, and we feel energized after eating there. Our family loves this place. The ingredients are fresh, so even the kids eat really well.

Delicious food and great service!

I had the pork ribs and cold noodle set, and everything was absolutely delicious. The restaurant was recently renovated, so the space feels much cleaner and more upscale now.
All the side dishes were fresh and flavorful, and the staff was super friendly! They refilled anything that ran low right away and checked in with us often. It was a really pleasant dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The service today was extremely disappointing and terrible. We have been loyal customers of this restaurant for over 10 years, but after today’s experience, we will not be returning.

In the past, the service was generally good, which is why today’s experience was so surprising. We had to ask three times just to get the servers’ attention and were largely ignored, even though the restaurant was not busy (we were there for an early lunch). At one point, we were told we could not take our leftovers without any explanation even though we had not indicated that we planned to take anything to go. The comment was completely unprompted and bizarre.

To make matters worse, our bill was brought to us without us requesting it, which made us feel rushed and unwelcome.

We raised the issue with the cashier, and the owner was present and witnessed the situation, but chose not to address it and instead walked away. The cashier did apologize, but given the owner’s response, it seems unlikely that anything will be done to address the issue.

This type of service is unacceptable in the U.S. or in South Korea or anywhere. It is especially disappointing after supporting this restaurant for more than a decade. Unfortunately, this experience has convinced us not to return.

The server actually followed me out to complain about the tip amount. Let’s be clear: a tip is a reward for service, not a mandatory fee. If you want a bigger tip, provide better service.
I was dining with two young children, yet the server showed zero consideration—blowing smoke everywhere and clattering the tongs loudly while grilling. I had to ask multiple times for basic refills like water and side dishes. To make matters worse, they took the grill out before we even finished, forcing us to eat cold meat. We felt rushed, as if we were being kicked out.
You should be grateful for any tip given after such poor service. It’s a typical trait of an incompetent server to demand more while doing the bare minimum. Do your job properly if you expect more. Also, your salary is your employer’s responsibility, not a bill to be charged to customers through tips.

A K-bbq that seems to have always been here as long as I know. Been here so many times before but just revisited, and it’s as great as it has always been. The banchan are plenty, the pork is cut very thick so it doesn’t dry out when on the grill. Servers are very attentive and the owner is super nice. The cold noodle is excellent as well. I definitely can’t wait to come back next time to try out other things.
