Parking is a bit tricky on that block, but at least it’s free!
As the food was so good, we could not resist and ordered Soy Garlic Fried Chicken Wings. And we were not disappointed. The chicken meat was tender and the sauce was very delicious.
The staff was extra nice and always checked in us to see if we need anything.
We went in a group of 6 so we go to try little bit of everything.
This is a great place for comforting Korean food. Their side dishes are fresh and flavorful. Kimchi was very spicy, most of us couldn’t handle it.
Dduk Boln Ki – fish cake and rice cake with spicy sauce sauce wasn’t good. It has way more rice cake compared to fish cake and sauce was not appealing.
Pork dumpling tofu stew was my favorite. Beef tofu stew was also really good.
Bibimbap chicken was very good.
Marinated spicy pork was delicious, but slightly sweet. It is HUGE! We were so full by the time this arrived, we couldn’t enjoy much.
It was overall great experience. We all enjoyed warm Korean dinner for cold night. I was fulfilling and satisfying.
The So Go Gi Soon Dooboo was so full, my partner and I struggled a bit to open the container without spilling any. It was delicious! I would want to try their other tofu stews if I visit again!
I’m generally not a fan of seafood so I think Haemul Pajeon was alright. The Bibimbap and the sides was good.
[e] 12/16/23 Dinner Dine In.
My party was a group of four and we dine in for dinner. The place was half empty at 6:30PM. We got Crab Soon Tofu (white), Soon DooBoo + Gal Bi (Chicken tofu stew, white, + Beef Short Ribs), and Pork Dolsot (Bibimbap). The food was good for the most part – I think it was because I prefer mild tofu stew but my group needed it white. The crab tofu stew was better than chicken; but beef from my takeout visit was best (but it could be because of the mild spicy). I liked the beef short ribs. The bibimbap was good too.
The banchans were good.
