Reviews
The Korean BBQ selection was outstanding—premium cuts of beef, pork belly, marinated short ribs, chicken, shrimp, and fresh vegetables. Every piece of meat was tender, flavorful, and beautifully marinated. The grill was clean and heated evenly, making the cooking process fun and easy. The banchan side dishes were fresh, plentiful, and constantly refilled.
On the hot pot side, the broth choices were excellent, especially the spicy mala and the herb-rich clear broth. The ingredient bar had everything you could imagine: thin-sliced beef, seafood, fish balls, dumplings, assorted noodles, mushrooms, bok choy, tofu, and so much more. Everything looked fresh and high quality, which made the whole experience even better.
The buffet also offered sushi, cooked dishes, salads, desserts, and refreshing drinks—giving you way more than you expect for the price. I loved that the restaurant was very clean and well-organized, and the staff checked on us often without being intrusive.
Overall, this place is perfect for date nights, family gatherings, or celebrations with friends. The value is unbeatable, the food is top-notch, and the atmosphere makes you want to come back again. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Korean BBQ and hot pot!
There was a clear lack of service-minded staff and an evident staff shortage. The restaurant is far too large for only one server to manage; however, there was only one staff member on duty. As a result, the service was extremely slow.
Food delivery was delayed for an unreasonable amount of time, which significantly disrupted our dining experience and made the meal unpleasant.
When we tried to get the server’s attention to follow up on our order, we had to wait for a long time before being assisted. Furthermore, when we had the hot pot, but we were given plastic utensils, which was completely unacceptable for the type of meal and the price we paid. When we politely raised our concern about this issue, the server argued with us instead of handling the situation professionally and respectfully.
Additionally, the food did not taste fresh and failed to meet our expectations in terms of quality. Considering the $45 price, the overall experience was disappointing and not worth the value. The hot pot also made us feel uncertain about its preparation and safety standards.
We also felt that the server discriminated against us by deliberately avoiding our table and refusing to serve us properly after we asked about our order. This behavior made us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome.
Overall, we left feeling dissatisfied and disheartened by both the service and the food quality. I would strongly recommend that others avoid dining at this restaurant if they wish to have a pleasant and secure dining experience.
The steam egg is flavorful. The tofu soup itself tastes better than most places. Not too strong in onion flavor but focuses on green onions. The package was decent. They put an additional layer of cling rap wrap on top of the plastic container to avoid spillage which is great.
At $39.90 per person, it’s overpriced—especially if you’ve ever been to Hungary Pot, which offers much better value. The meat selection was very limited, mostly thin-sliced cuts, with no decent BBQ-style meats. The side dishes weren’t great either and lacked flavor. I couldn’t believe this place is more expensive than Hungry Pot. You are paying more for less here.
The service wasn’t the best, though it wasn’t terrible enough to complain too much. POverall it makes me appreciate Hungry pot a lot more now.
On our first visit, we were served a side dish that appeared to have been previously served to another customer because there some rice on it. Upon informing the waiter, he promptly replaced it with a new one. The food was satisfactory, and the authentic Korean side dishes were particularly enjoyable.
On our second visit, we discovered a small cockroach on the table, which caused significant distress to my wife. I promptly removed the insect with a napkin before proceeding with our meal. However, I refrained from reporting the incident to the staff, despite my wife’s insistence. Although we had already experienced a noticeable decline in appetite, we decided to complete the food we had ordered. Additionally, we observed numerous food items on the floor that could potentially attract pests such as cockroaches.
While the food quality was acceptable and the authentic Korean side dishes were delectable, it is imperative that the establishment’s owner recognizes that the overall dining experience encompasses not only the culinary offerings but also other factors such as the provision of fresh food and the maintenance of a pest-free environment. Failure to address these concerns would likely result in a loss of customer satisfaction and hinder the establishment’s ability to attract and retain patrons.
