My son got the wings, he loved them. Perfectly cooked and the sauce was just the right consistency to stay on the wings, very flavorful and tasty. I got the grilled chicken salad which had very fresh toppings, chicken was tender and moist. My husband had the burger which was cooked exactly how he ordered it. Overall nice place, will stop again if in the area.

Biggest drawback is when there is a full dining room it is VERY loud. The space is very open and there is no noise cancelling measures/dividers. Still 5 stars though!

We live nearby and are sad we didn’t discover this before this year. Dads food is always yummy. We now eat here weekly and it’s always a good experience and great pub food. My husband loves the burgers. I get the chicken bacon ranch wrap which I’ve never been a fan of till Dads. It’s always warm and delicious. The fresh fries are good. The wings are good and all the apps we’ve tried we’ve liked. It’s just a warm, friendly, tasty and nice spot. Thankful it’s nearby and delicious. There are a few things we haven’t tried yet but we’ve been happy with almost everything. Comforting and yummy.

The food was pretty standard. Nothing really wowed me, but nothing was bad. Some of the food is great for the price, and other items are underwhelming. Tonight, I tried the small white pizza, small Mac and cheese, and a chicken bacon wrap with some hand cut fries as the side.
The Mac and cheese was surprisingly very good. They call it the wolds best, which is definitely a stretch, but it’s still a solid Mac that hits the spot. This dish is heavy on what seems to be gouda as the main cheese. Interesting and unique flavor, very creamy, rich, and I love the bread crumb top. The price (under $6) is amazing for the portion. A small is more enough for a meal in my opinion. Overall, great deal and pretty tasty. 3.8/5
The white pizza was quite mediocre in my opinion. They do not make thin crust pies. The regular pizza crust is too thick. They do use a fair amount of ricotta, which adds a nice texture and flavor. But, there isn’t much flavor to this pizza, and there is a weird sweetness to it. There are barely any tomatoes (it’s like they couldn’t decide if they want their white pie to have tomatoes or not, so they just add 3 tiny pieces). Price is alright for the size. Overall underwhelming. 2.4/5
Finally, the wrap. It was decently flavorful and had plenty of ranch, lettuce, and more. Good amount of chicken too, but bacon was too fried (tasted almost burnt) and not very good. The fries were quite delicious, hence why I could barely get a photo. Salty, still crunchy, and just tasty. Solid 3/5.
All in all, Dad’s is pretty decent for a bar. Middle of the road in terms of flavor quality, but great Mac n cheese if you like Gouda. The pizza wasn’t that great, but nothing I had was bad, especially for the price.

They had the BEST and I mean BEST food I’ve ever had, it’s extremely underrated because there wasn’t that many people there. Their desert is insanely good i can’t even comprehend how good it was.

Dad’s can be a hit or miss. When it’s good, it’s very good and when it’s not so good, it’s mediocre. Last week I was there and had a delicious fish sandwich and a salad! Tonight I ordered a crispy buffalo chicken salad, which I’ve had and enjoyed in the past! I ordered Caesar dressing tonight and didn’t use it until I was about done with my salad. I’m really glad I didn’t because it was like water. When the server came over with our checks, I asked if it was always that thin, like water. Her response was Oh, it must have been a watery batch. What? When I looked at the bill there was an additional charge of $3 for the crispy chicken, and I had seen no mention of an upcharge on the menu, so I asked about that too. I was told there is an extra charge because they used an extra chicken tender. I ask again if it was on the menu, and I was told no, but maybe it should be. What? . I said yes, it should be, or at least verbalized when it’s ordered.
We waited a very long time for what we ordered.
It wasn’t a terrible experience it was just so disappointing at the end.

This was my first visit to Dad’s and we had planned to eat in but unforseen events shifted to a take out. We ordered the Big E and Mushroom Swiss burgers along with the hot dog and fries from the kids menu. I ordered our grandson a Sierra Mist with his kids meal as he specifically asked for this. I tipped the server well who took our take out order up front (probably a mistake in retrospect). I waited a reasonable amount of time and she delivered the take out order to me. It was raining and foggy, so I head home and once home realized she forgot to give me the drink. Being 10 minutes away and raining, I wasn’t going back for the drink. The burgers and fries were very good and well worth the price paid. The restaurant looked nice and they have a nice bar area. I don’t often get food to go for a variety of reasons, and tonight reminded me why. I feel I paid for something I didn’t receive, disappointed a 3 year old, and over tipped for the service I ended up receiving.

The food is on par with every other average restaurant in Pittsburgh. Nothing special on the menu at all. You can tell the kitchen takes a lot of short cuts when preparing the food. The lettuce on the burger was brown and slimy, the fries cold and the portion way too small. No one at my table was terribly happy with their sad food.
The main reason for this bad review is the beer. I paid $9 for what I thought was a pint of hard cider. When she brings it isn’t in a 10 ounce footed glass. Probably 8-9 oz of cider because it wasn’t full to the top. What a pathetic was to scam people.
I would have mentioned this to the manager but he was busy watching a game on the TV, so obviously didn’t pay us any mind. He certainly didn’t check in on us at all.
Save your money and go to literally any other restaurant. You’ll have a much better meal, better service, better atmosphere and the full pint of beer that you pay for.

Didn’t make food right service was bad. Bartender and bar back was rude. Guess I’ll have to go back to go to monroeville location. Then spoke to manager SEAN/SHAWN who after informing ask me what he wants me to do and said he was trying to remain because he kept asking how I ordered which I explained 3 times I called the location personally and was never given a name. Again, thanks for playing into the stereotype. Incompetent
