This bakery, is a fantastic neighborhood find! The dessert options here are plentiful and delicious! There are a number of donut varieties, more than I’ve seen anywhere else. There are also crumb cakes and so much more. The owner is a very nice Italian man, we were going on about Italy and different cities there and the heritage. It was a lovely experience and I felt welcomed and comfortable here, I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
If you’re coming up from the city, or headed back down, this is in Middletown, exit 120 off Rt. 17z It’s the halfway point from the city to Binghamton for everyone coming up to university and needing something along the way. There’s a gas station right across the street, sure you’ll need more of that and then a treat for yourself.

Daddy’s donuts are the absolute BEST ever! Seriously, THE BEST! I love the warm donuts you can get only when the “Hot Now” sign is on, but other than that I am typically not a huge fan of donuts. Well, Daddy’s donuts have changed my mind. Late one afternoon when the donuts had been sitting pretty in their case all day, I happened to crave something sweet and decided to try Daddy’s Bakery. Giulio apologized that he didn’t have a huge selection this late in the afternoon, but I still had a very hard time deciding what to get. My absolute favorite was the maple cream donut that was filled with the best cream custard inside and maple frosting on the top. Second place was just a standard donut with chocolate frosting, basic but amazing! Next, Boston cream and Dirty Bastard (basically Boston cream topped with Oreo crumbles and peanut butter) were tied for third. The delicious runners up (in order of preference) were: creme brûlée, Daddy’s cannoli (or maybe it was Holy cannoli, but it was a chocolate cake donut with chocolate frosting that was sliced to make a “sandwich” with cannoli cream), and apple crumb. Giulio was super nice and I can’t wait to go back and try more flavors…even though it’s almost a 40 minute drive from where I live. Next time I will take photos but this time I was too busy eating all of the donuts!
I went back again and it’s still so difficult to decide what to get since there are so many amazing choices! I got the maple cream again since it was my favorite last time, plus the banana pudding (I think it’s actually called Banana Nilla Wafer), Oh My Oreo, and an apple fritter. These were all amazing, but the apple fritter was more like an apple Danish or apple cinnamon roll because it wasn’t fried like they traditionally are. Still good but not what I was expecting.
Back again!!! Today’s selection included: maple cream again, carrot cake, banana split, Nutella, sugar jelly, s’mores, and Dubai chocolate. All of them were amazing but I especially loved the texture of the Nutella donut with the sugar on the outside, and the Dubai chocolate was my favorite overall.

I was visiting a friend in Middletown (I’m from Long Island) and was looking for some donuts to bring home. Quick google search and found Daddy’s Bakery. And boy am I happy did.
I have to say, this was the best donut I have ever had.
Ever. I would drive back “upstate” just for these donuts!
Not only are the donuts delicious, and fresh, the man that helped me was so nice. The service here friendly and welcoming. Asked me if l’ve ever been there and I explained I was visiting from LI and we had a chat about that.
I cannot wait to go back. So many different flavors to try.

This was our first time here. My girls and I were looking for a sweet treat, a new place we haven’t been to. As well as a local small business to support. We came across this place as it had good reviews and wasn’t far so we said will go check it out. The owner was kind, friendly and even made our hot chocolate for us. The assortment of sweet treats is great. The donuts were so soft (we had gotten there after 3pm) and we just couldn’t decide there were so many options. We finally decided on three donuts – an Oreo one, MM one and a cheesecake filled one. We were not disappointed with quality, taste and price. We will definitely be back and will be highly recommend to everyone.

I always forget to take pictures when I’m here. These donuts are insanely delicious. The dough os light and fluffy. The fillings and toppings aren’t overly sweet so they are well balanced! The Dirty Bastard might be one of the best foods ever created!

Ordered from Daddy’s Bakery in Middletown and had mixed results. The lemon glazed donut was absolutely amazing — fresh, bright, and perfectly sweet. Definitely a standout and something I’d order again.
Unfortunately, the crème brûlée donut was a big letdown. The topping was extremely burnt and had a very bitter taste, to the point where I had to throw it out.

These are probably the best donuts I’ve ever had! Found this gem on Google on our way back to Long Island. 10/10 would highly recommend!! The peanut butter and jelly donut was exceptionally delicious.

I ordered 3 donuts, two maple bacon and one fruity pebbles. They had a lot of choices and the service was quick. I sat at a table and started to eat, the fruity pebbles donut was delicious and the cereal added a nice crunch, but it was too sweet. The maple bacon was perfect! The maple frosting was not too sweet but had a strong maple flavor, the bacon was soft and chewy but balanced out the sweetness of the maple frosting. Both donuts were super soft and pillowy. I would highly recommend stopping here if you’re in the area!
