Dad Jokes Cheesyburger started as a day-dream and soon to be your favorite neighborhood burger joint that serves a dad joke with every burger! Some of our menu’s favorites are the Daddy Stack, OK Onion, and our chicken Sammy. We cut and make fries daily and we fry in beef tallow in a Gluten Free dedicated fryer. Our smash burgers taste like home. You’ll find some surprises like smashed buffalo tots too. We capture the essence of growing up, family, friends and those unforgettable gatherings. Laughter and good food has always been medicine. Frisco Rail District is a thriving community that embraces historic Frisco and everyone who lives and plays in it. My boyfriend and I hopped in the car with no plan for lunch. We passed by this place and had to stop in just because of the name. We were immediately greeted upon entering and talked through the menu. I ordered the Daddy Stack burger and he got the Smoke Stack – both doubles. Both burgers were SO tasty, juicy, and delicious. Tender meat, fresh veggies, and sauce you can tell is made in house. Perfectly toasted warms buns and fresh made fries – think In-N-Out but BETTER. They had a fun selection of cream sodas and root beers being chilled on ice. And they also serve Henry’s ice cream! We sat on the huge outdoor patio under some lovely shade trees and played tic-tac-toe at our table until our food was brought to us. What a delightful find! We can’t wait to come back and try more things from the menu.

Cute place! Plenty of patio seating. Will be perfect with heat lamps for the cold time. Very minimal seating inside. Tater tots were bomb, full of flavor. I had the OG cheeseburger and it was perfect. My hubby ordered the double stack with all the bacon jam fixins and that was okay. I think too many flavors mashed together and the bottom bun got soggy but overall would come back.

Stopped by and it did not disappoint. The burger was delicious juicy, flavorful, and made exactly the way you want a classic cheeseburger to taste. The place feels cozy and welcoming, but what made the experience even better was the owner personally thanking us for coming in. It made the whole visit feel genuine and personal, like they really appreciate every customer who walks through the door.

A burger joint called “dad jokes cheeseburger”?! I am in. And what a treat this place is! I’m a huge fan of smash burgers and this burger joint specializes specifically in smash burgers! I got the Daddy Stack and it’s one of the best smash burger I’ve had in a while. Is it greasy? Yes, but not so much that you find grease running down your palm while eating. Living up to their namesake, they throw in a small snippet of a dad joke on each dine-in order serving tray. Small interior eating space but a sizable outdoor patio. They have a small private parking lot, which is great with all the ludicrous construction going on in downtown Frisco.

THIS is what going out to get a bite to eat is supposed to be like. This is what it was like but we’ve lost.
First off, the service from Stella was amazing. Since it was our first time here, we had questions… she had passion on her answers and made it feel like she cared about how our meal went. Plenty of suggestions and smiling the whole time.
We let the manager Gabby know how great Stella was and Gabby just continued with the great service.
As for the food, couldn’t ask for a better burger or better tots. Get the smashed tots for sure!
Despite the chaos that is the construction on main, the outside seating was super inviting and comfortable.
Last note: the music is on point!

If you’re in Dad Jokes, you’ll get exactly what you came for. Solid burgers, really good tater tots, and a great drink selection with fountain drinks, bottled sodas, and beer.
Seating inside is very tight, so plan on sitting outside at one of the picnic tables. Fingers crossed for good weather. Casual spot, good food, no fuss. Exactly how a burger joint should be.

Great old school burgers!!! They have Henry’s Ice Cream from Plano, a dozen favors available for use in floats. Great smashed onion burgers! Very good buffalo smashed tots. Placed an order online, ready and still hot when I arrived. Excellent burgers, will definitely be back. Lots of great bottled sodas!!!
