De Capo is an amazing Italian restaurant. Their quality is outstanding and tastes truly authentic. I have never had a fresher vegetable pizza. The veggies taste home grown! Exceptional quality overall and will return for entrees. Artichoke pizza with eggplants? Yes absolutely! Impeccable! Try it!

I felt sorry for the waitress. She did her best, but the pizza maker fell flat. My pizza didn’t arrive until everyone else was almost done with their plates. I walked back in to ask, and she immediately realized what happened. The pizza maker and her began to argue, and I walked back to the table. She came out, apologized, and said it was being made now. When it came, it wasn’t what I expected – broccoli rabe with sausage. It was more basil, chopped sausage and invisible rabe. The topper? They charged us for the pizza that arrived after 30 minutes later and wasn’t as advertised. Other than that… The fish-n-chips was very good,and the steak panino was very good with a good amount of steak. The beet and buratta salad was fabulous as was the grilled octopus. Will I go back? I’m going to have to think about it – I’m torn

I’ve been to this establishment many times but end up forgetting to take photos (due to the great times being had). The location isn’t around much, but definitely worth the drive. I haven’t had a disappointing meal here. The staff is absolutely wonderful. I love how they made the outdoor patio. Will have to remember to take photos when I visit in the warmer months.

I’ve been here a few times & everytime I’ve felt that the pasta meals are quite expensive considering they do not make their own pasta. The salads are very good & pretty good size. There’s nothing special about the meals to charge so much. My husband ordered linguine with clams & said there was butter in it. He never has had that before & wasnt happy with it.

We had a great meal on the patio and enjoyed the sunset. Da Capo chips (crunchy fried eggplant & zucchini) were delicious. We shared a “small” Toscana salad which was more than enough for two people. The salad includes warmed polenta croutons. The “small” (12 inch) Parma pizza had plenty of prosciutto and arugula.

I’ve only eaten here a few times and the food has been excellent every time. The appetizers, main course and dessert 5 stars. Ordered the pizza to take home one night, their sauce was one of the best I’ve ever had. I drive trucks for a living, so I try my fair share of pizzas in the northeast. Easily one of my favorites now!

Took 1hour and 15 minutes to get our salad which was an insult. Waitress had the nerve to blame the computer- totally wrong. Large portions do not matter if the food is mediocre and the service is slow and the management is second rate. AVOID this place. I was embarrassed for my guests. And there was no parking. The lot is undersized.

The food is good, my drink had a funny taste, but the larger issue was the noise. It was so loud and cacophonous that we rushed through our meal to leave. Lastly, even though the restaurant wasn’t full, there wasn’t adequate parking.

Ordered take out online, restaurant forgot to include one $28 pasta dinner in bag. We called when we got home, they said they had the missing item, no apology for forgetting to include it. We asked if we could come by the next day when in Litchfield to pick up the same pasta dish we already paid for that they forgot to include. The girl on the phone said she would get the manager- another girl came on the phone, said the manager was busy, told me we had to go through SLICE to fix the issue, never said how to contact SLICE or what would happen to our money already paid to Dacapo. We were told we could not come pick up another of the same order that they had forgotten to include in our take out order. Never apologized, manager never came on phone, very rude and unhelpful, refused to take responsibility or replace missing $28 pasta dish even though we offered several times to come back to pick one up. Their food is decent, but no need to spend the money & be treated so poorly.
