One of my friends recommended their place and we went there to celebrate my wife’s birthday treat !! Alhumdulillah we were not disappointed!! Specially the way the owners treat their customers which is really admirable and most importantly the food was way better than the other Bangladeshi restaurants in Michigan! You can enjoy your time with your family as they have very good set up and interior design which allows you to have some privacy ! Overall very good !

I went to this place at the recommendation of a friend to try some Indian food for the first time. I am now hooked on Indian food and this place specifically. Every dish I tried was amazingly well seasoned and full of flavor. All the food was incredibly fresh tasting. The owner found out it was my first time and brought me an appetizer on the house. After my first trip I’ve been back several times in about 2 weeks to try new things and bring more people to find this amazing spot. You won’t be disappointed.

So we found this place driving by and said we need to try it out one day, well that day was a nice fall Sunday for lunch.
When we walked in we were greeted by a tank of water with bubbles continuously bubbling, it is as relaxing as it is beautiful. The overall decor and atmosphere was elegant but not too much. It was a very pleasing place to be seated in.
Then we met the owner Arif, I hope that is the correct spelling, and he was a wonderfully charming fellow and very friendly. He was confident in the cuisine that they served and we couldn’t wait to sample their fare.
She ordered a sample platter that included tandoori chicken, chicken tikka, chicken & beef shish kabob, and shrimp. This coupled with garlic naan was a fantastic choice to indulge in their many dishes. I ordered one of our favorites the butter chicken with rice and Daawat’s version did not disappoint!
I can’t rave enough about this absolutely terrific dining experience, the food, the atmosphere and the service was so fantastic that we have decided that for Indian cuisine Daawat’s is going to be in our regular rotation.

We were guided here by our hungry stomach’s…tempted by the good reviews.
Let me say we were NOT disappointed!!!
Wow !! What a place .
From walking through the door to rolling out full , our experience was more than 5 star.
The restaurant owner works front of house and is very warming and attentive.
The food was traditional and tasty !! We mainly ate the Indian food from the menu, but we’re getting food envy looking at other tables.
Highly recommend the chicken tikka masala.
Such generous portions for the price . I was even made an accompanying sauce ‘raita’ at my request. We could not eat any more from our plates , but boxed every crumb to take away !
The decor of the interior is spectacular, especially the mesmorizing bubble tank at the entrance.
We WILL be back !!!!

Came in and had a nice dinner. My husband enjoyed his food and mine was pretty good. We also really enjoyed the garlic Naan! The girls bathroom was kinda gross and had pee on all over the floor and the hand dryer didn’t work.

I visited recently to try their chicken fried rice. The dish arrived promptly and had generous portion of rice.
However, I was disappointed by the sparse amount of chicken in the dish. For a meal labeled as ‘chicken fried rice,’ I expected more than just a few small pieces.
Overall, the dish was enjoyable, but the lack of chicken left me feeling a bit shortchanged. I’ll give it three stars because the taste and service were good, but the value didn’t quite meet my expectations.”

Great food, we order from here often. The Chicken Curry and Lamb Korma are amazing. The service is really good. They are father and sons which I like. The prices are really fair too. Highly recommend.

Why it’s so hard for Indian restaurants to serve quality food in Michigan ??! Put a halal tag & serve whatever you like, right?! We ordered Beef biriyani, Shrimp biriyani, Chicken biriyani and Kachchhi Biriyani and Deshi sheekh kabab with naan. Rice of the biriyani tested same In biriyani even though prices & names were different! On site it’s written seekh kabab will be cooked in clay oven but it was no where near to clay oven cooked sheek kabab. I’ve provided you pictures of biriyani and you can see that color of rice same only differently named & high price. Anyone, who’s from Indo-pak knows these dishes are no where close to authentic biriyani. Even street vendors food from these regions are better than food you are serving! It’s so disappointing that you people are fooling customers who hasn’t tested authentic biriyani and think you’re providing a good service!!
All I have to say, have some ethics! You guys raised 1$ per item even though you’re selling it using same rice with different protein. You’re saying you serve HALAL while you very well know that this is not HALAL way to do any business. Cheating in business isn’t HALAL!
