The sushi was good and tasted fresh. It didn’t hit the spot for me. The pots stickers where great. The atmosphere was very dark and the bathrooms where darker and it made it seem as of it where dirty. Alot of boxes everywhere behind the bar and in random places, out of the way but still in the customers view. I would try the sushi again tho maybe a boat next.

Good fresh sushi
Basic setup with small sushi bar and regular drinking bar. Service is good and quick. Everything was served together. We ordered the sashimi combo, Salmon roe and crab sticks, several Philadelphia rolls. We also ordered a non rice roll which was surprisingly light and fluffy. We also had an order of calamari. It was was soft and extra crispy at the same time. They looked like mozzarella cheese sticks. My only complaint is that their music can get load at times especially if you’re seating right under a speaker. 07.31.2022

Daan Special Roll is surprisingly pretty good, even though it looks small at first. Together with spicy tuna roll I was satisfied.
The volcano roll is a must try. The real crab meat in sweet sauce is delicious.
Everything else was alright.
I recommend using the 2 for $26 roll special.
Have not had any issues with service or to go orders. They are consistent and have good prices.
Music is too quiet and lightning in the dining room is awkward.

Daan Sushi is a great place for fresh cut sushi and some drinks (if you’re old enough to drink alcohol). They had very great customer service and presentation of food! They were not too busy and we went on Friday night. The only downside of the restaurant was that the men’s bathroom didn’t have running water and it made me feel a little uncomfortable. However, the food and service was outstanding and I would consider returning!

Everything we ordered was excellent and we ordered a lot!!!! 10 sushi rolls for the table plus entrees and it came out very quickly! Our server was friendly and quick. The restaurant was very busy and only had two servers working, kudos to them for all the hard work they did! I recommend going early as the later it got the more people came flooding in.

I have to say this was the best Asian restaurant I have EVER been too. The food is VERY fresh. The egg rolls were very good and the sushi was amazing! Prices are on the high side, but honestly, I understand why. It was worth each penny!

It’s not a bad sushi bistro. The selections weren’t as competitive as other places. Only had the common stuff. Not enough exotic choices. Although the blue fin and the fatty tuna helped earned this place points in my book. The other factor is that they were generous on the portions of fish provided. I’d go again if I went back to Texas.

I’ve been going to daan sushi for years and it was the first place that I fell in love with sushi. The food is great always hot (hot plates like calamari and tempura) and the miso soup is delicious. I usually go Sunday afternoons so I can’t say much about a rush crowd but I like that’s it’s not too busy. The service is good as well, waiters are attentive and nice.

They gave us a lot of food so i think the value is there! The las vegas roll was a little weird but there was so much it wasnt like i went hungry 🙂 I would def order here again and i would recommend the creamy monster for sure !
