This is a good place for fast and cheap pizza that’s not dominos. I must warn you though, do not order the garlic cheesy bread. It is a hoagie roll with cheese sandwiched in between. Is not what you would expect for cheesy bread. The pizza gets the job done, the crust is not spectacular, but it’s fine. They are generous on the toppings at least.

Update: I have to update my review because the last 3 visits have not been satisfactory. 1st visit the pizza was undercooked, the 2nd it wasn’t fresh, and the third barely had any toppings or sauce. I have visited this place for over a decade and sadly I’m now looking for another primary pizza restaurant. It no longer looks or tastes the same. Consistency matters in the food industry.

There pizza are awesome, big slices. Meat ball sub is great as well. There salads on the other hand are a mess. As you can tell, half of my lettuce is core pieces. Not Impressed by no means…. I can understand if there was a few but this is ridiculous…. You guys are gonna have to do better when it comes to salad’s. This isn’t the first time this has happened when ordering here.

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Eat in order of chicken wings and blue cheese, Philly cheese steak sub, small, and a ham calzone. As you can see in the attached photo, all was cooked to perfection. Prepared in house right in the open by a man who knows what he’s doing. The service was excellent, everyone was curteous and clean. The dining area was excellent for a pizzeria and the outside area was also adequate. The rest room was clean and smelled fresh. This place also has a poke stop at the outdoor gazebo. Prices are very friendly for this authentic New York style pizza foods. Based on the traffic I observed while eating in, there are very popular and do offer local.delivery. I’ve included a picture of the menu for your inspection.

A chef pal told us Da Vinci’s was “the best” and we have to agree. Laden with ingredients, our pizza was huge (the large is 20”) and presented on a wonderfully delicious crust.
We think the people who frequent a restaurant are also a sign of the food and on New Year’s Eve, we watched a very diverse crowd come in and eat or to go. Several people savored the lasagna or subs and all looked delicious.

Great Pizza! Great customer service! I came in yesterday to pick up an online order, when I picked it up(I admit I was running late) I wasn’t really satisfied with the “look” of the pizza. I explained my reasoning and they kindly remade a delicious pie! I was tremendously pleased. When I brought the pizza home I was a bit concerned if the beef pepperoni was accidentally replaced with pork pepperoni. I brought the pizza back the next day to confirm that it was in fact beef( sooo happy for the confirmation) all of this to say the front staff, and the guy that makes the pizza treated me with kindness and professionalism! This is the way you have much business success. I will always support this business! Way to go Davincis Davis lake!

For obvious reasons, it’s been quite some time since I’ve actually ventured out anywhere. I’ve been extremely fortunate, in that every single time that my neighbors have gone to the grocery store and/or elsewhere, they’ve always asked me if I needed anything while they were out. Approximately 2 weeks ago, they came back from their trip to the grocery store and brought me a Stromboli. Not only was it phenomenal, but it’s probably the best one that I’ve had since I moved down to NC from Philadelphia while serving in the military. This morning they asked if I needed anything from the store, or if I wanted to ride with them. I finally chose to head out with them. After grocery shopping, they told me that they were going to Da vinci’s Pizza. This is where they had picked up the Stromboli from last time. And I had another Stromboli. Just as good as the last one, if not better. If you like Italian…in particular Strombolis, then this just might be the place for you. Easily the best one that I’ve ever eaten in Charlotte. For your future reference, they have an umbrella seating outdoors. There’s also bench seating right next door, that’s kind of cabana style, with shrubbery and small trees.
