This BBQ does not disappoint!! I came in as they opened the door and it’s obvious they show up ready with delicious food! The ribs are more of a “dry rub” but they’re definitely not dry. 100% coming back

Just okay. I had chicken fried steak and it was good but the mashed potatoes seem like powdered mashed potatoes. The green beans had kind of a sour taste so I’m just not impressed. Probably won’t go back again. Onion rings were good though. It was just okay

We discovered this place in September. We came here 4 times.
First time, we ordered 4 portions. Our plan was to eat 2 portions on the spot and take 2 home. We got shortchanged a wing (we got 9 out of the 10-wing dish) and provided only 2 sets of 2 sides instead 4 sets of 2 sides. When we asked for the missing ones, they charged us extra for them, when in fact each portion was supposed to come with its own 2 sides.
Second time when we came we ordered 2 dishes, we got shortchanged again with the sides. No sides for one of the platters.
Third time when we came they were closed during their business hours, no notice on the door and no one picked up the phone.
Fourth time, today, we ordered 2 platters. The amount of food on each one of the platters was half what it should have been. The food was served cold and the meat was tough, particularly the chicken. It tasted as if it was cooked in the morning and served past 5 pm. That’s fine, if you are late at your friend’s barbecue and you are helping yourself with leftovers, but not for a restaurant.
When we had our first meal here, we fell in love with the flavors. The food actually tastes really good, spices are spot on and all the meats are seasoned with pairing flavors and cooked perfectly on a wood grill.
We live almost 1 hour away, in TX, and we were going out of our way to treat ourselves to a nice meal.
We will not return, tho, because in spite the food tasting good, we find it really disrespectful to be shortchanged and to be served old food. It’s a real shame, tho because the place could do amazing if they actually served what is on the menu. It’s not like the customers can’t count the wing pieces or the side numbers and see that they’re shortchanged. We’re very disappointed.
