This was the best food I’ve ever had in my life, I literally wanted to cry because I’ve never had anything that tasted that good ever. The shrimp boil they make their own garlic sauce and I want to buy it by the gallon. Hopefully they try to sell at first Friday because if they did their food would have people lining up around the block. I’m never going anywhere for Southern food anywhere else again.

The ribs were awesome, probably the best I’ve had. Service was great and friendly. I did have to wait a bit due to the popularity, so in the future I may call in my order ahead of time. I put 4 stars for atmosphere since I did not eat there and just brought it home. However, Da Spot has a nice seating area outside with tents to get some shade. I would’ve added photos but I ate it all. Definitely will return

This place is a local treasure! My first time there and the food was great! We got crab and fish plates with banana pudding sides that came in these very convenient jars! Prices were great and even watched them make yet another new customer as we waited for our food! Highly recommended!

Sides were amazing!! Collards and Mac n cheese and dirty rice!! Ribs were good. Needed in the oven on low to tenderize the meat more. I put in for 1 1:2 hrs. I would go back. Very nice people! I like the pork very very tender

Wow!!! Definitely a hidden local gem of tarpon! Just moved here from Alaska where seafood and bbq are king buuut I must say da spot is hitting! Perfectly cooked, hot, fresh and LOCAL! We had family come to town unexpectedly I called but didn’t get an answer (they weren’t open for another few hours) so I rode my bike over and the chef was out there smoking the goods, he kindly explained everything and we made a plan for what we needed party wise – and three hours later they made it happen.

The food was ok overall. The shrimp platter had a good amount of fried shrimp, but they were too salty. The fries that came with the shrimp platter were soggy. The pulled pork sandwich was good, but I had to eat it with a fork. It was sauced to the point that the bread was a soggy mess. The rib dinner was ok… the flavor was good. But a few pieces were like tree bark hard and dry, which was very unfortunate as the flavor and smokiness were on point. The Bbq sauce had great flavor and was unique as it seemed to be a mix of two different sauces, one was.yellowish and one was dark like the usual bbq sauce.
