We’ve driven by this place many times and finally decided to give it a try. Overall, we’d rate it around 2-2.5 stars — glad we tried it, but we have no desire to return.
The staff seemed largely uninterested in helping or attending to customers when we approached the counter to order. At one point we waited for them to stop text texting to continue taking our order. The only friendly person we encountered was a young woman (possibly the chef?) who went table to table checking on everyone.
We ordered the bourbon chicken with rice and a burrito. The chicken had good flavor, but the rice was bland and really brought down the dish. The burrito meat was tasty, but the macaroni was ice cold. We also tried the sides of baked beans and cheesy potatoes. The baked beans were amazing, and the cheesy potatoes were great — until the bottom, where condensation had settled and altered the taste.
Maybe the experience is better for locals, but as first-time visitors, it left a lot to be desired.

If you’re in the area don’t hesitate to come here! Friendliest staff and the brisket is excellent! I had the burrito with Mac n cheese and brisket. I didn’t know what to expect, but it’s really good. It will leave you wanting more! We sat outside on the patio on a chilly fall evening by the fire and watching baseball playoffs. Just come!!! You won’t regret it!

What we got without warning was a plain hamburger patty on a bun $13. We got a pulled pork on a hoagie bun not a sesame bun like photo showed on website. And the reuben rye bread was not toasted. Also the Mac and cheese is not cast iron skillet cooked, it tastes like velveta cheese in a big warming pot made. $50×tip roughly cost.
Could of gone anywhere else and got the same sandwiches for half the price, or with fries or onion rings for their price. We live 3 miles from them and will never order there again.

The minute you walk in the door you know this is the real deal. We were greeted warmly at the door like we were old friends. The smells were amazing. The food portions were generous, fresh and delicious. The white sauce was super! The outdoor patio was cozy and the perfect setting for bbq. We are from out of town but will make this a stop if we are back in the area. It was a treat to meet the owners and see first hand how much they care about their staff, customers and community.

Okay, so, I gotta say, being from South Carolina, I’m totally biased about BBQ. While visiting Ohio, a friend of a friend recommend this place, and it was alright. I got the sampler platter with pulled pork, brisket, and chicken. It came with three sides, so I got mac and cheese, green beans, and pasta salad. The sides were kinda boring and needed salt and pepper, but the meats were pretty good. They didn’t have any sauce on them, but they gave you a bunch to add yourself. They even had a Carolina style sauce, which was awesome. My favorite was the pulled pork, then the chicken, and then the brisket. They have a good menu with a lot of options. The service was excellent! The young lady was super friendly and welcoming. The place was clean and looked like a real BBQ joint. I’d recommend it..

We were excited to try it, but were very disappointed with what we got. Everything the 4 of us got was barely warm and did not seem fresh. The ribs were tough and dry, the wings were cold and did not have much flavor, and the cheesy potatoes were dry and not cheesy at all. The burrito probably would have been good if it was hot, but it wasn’t. Maybe just a bad night for them, but a huge waste of money for us.

Stopped by on our way back home from columbus. Brisket and pulled pork both 8/10 in my book and chicken was 9.5/10. Whatever seasoning they rub on chicken before cooking is to good to be true. Good sauces to choose from and delicious sides. Macaroni is some of the best ive ever had. Totally recommend this place and we will be back next time we come this way! Thanks for the hospitality!
