You’re made to feel like family the minute you walk through the door! The quality of the food is exceptional and the owner is a wonderful Paesano!!!! The homemade bread is so fresh and his meatballs are the most tender and delicious I’ve ever had.
This hidden gem is well worth going to and I can say with certainty that my husband and I will be eating here frequently!!!!!
I would like to add that the cannolis are absolutely delicious too!
His unique Italian Culetto sandwiches are out of this world: hearty, flavorful, and layered with the kind of quality ingredients you just don’t find in chain restaurants. His meatballs and sauce, so delicious! You have to try them. And, of course don’t leave without dessert, his Sicilian Cannoli perfect! Portions are generous, and the flavors transport you straight to Italy.
But what makes this place even more special is the warmth of the owner. You don’t just feel like a customer here, you feel like a guest at someone’s table. This isn’t just a sandwich shop — it’s an experience. A rare combination of authentic homemade food and genuine hospitality that makes you want to come back again and again. Hands down, one of the best spots around. We will definitely be going back! “Grazie”Nando for welcoming us into your “home” and for providing a place in our community where the food is amazing and truly made with love!
First, the food is incredible. The meatballs, chef’s kiss. Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and clearly made with pride and a love for feeding others.
But even more impressive than the food was the customer service, it was truly above and beyond anything I’ve ever experienced. As soon as we walked in, all three gentlemen working greeted us with genuine warmth. One of them, the owner, asked if we had been in before. When we said we hadn’t, he personally walked us to the counter and gave us a sample of their bread, meat, and cheese while explaining how each is made. It felt like being welcomed into someone’s home, not just a restaurant.
After we got our food, we went to sit at a table, but the owner asked us to join them instead. We ended up having the most amazing conversation. He shared heartfelt stories about memorable customers; one named Andrew in particular and while we were there a woman came in with a letter she’d written about that very customer. Listening to her words nearly brought me to tears.
And beyond all of that there was an undeniable sense of peace in this place, a spiritual peace, if you will. It’s the kind of atmosphere you don’t find often, warm, grounding, and genuinely uplifting.
There’s also a beautiful wall honoring mothers in the community who have passed on, along with a prayer. It’s rare to walk into a place that feels so full of heart, connection, and genuine care.
Having lived in several major cities and traveled to many more this is truly the best restaurant I’ve ever visited, not just for the food, but for the soul of the place.
Thank you Nando for such a beautiful experience.
Do yourself a favor and visit da Nando’s. You won’t be disappointed.
The wall dedicated to the Mothers that are no longer with us, is also heartwarming touch ❤️
The food is absolutely incredible — fresh, flavorful, and made with genuine care. Every bite tastes like it comes straight from an Italian kitchen, prepared with tradition and pride. You can tell they don’t cut corners; everything is thoughtfully made and generously served.
But what really makes daNando stand out is the service. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel valued, remembered, and appreciated. It’s rare to find a place where the food, the atmosphere, and the hospitality all come together so perfectly.
DaNando isn’t just a deli — it’s a local treasure. We’re so lucky to have a place that feels this authentic, this welcoming, and this full of heart. ❤️ We love it.
The food is consistently fresh with generous portions. The homemade cannoli are my personal favorite, second only to the meatballs and cheese. I’ve ordered for myself many times and also catered a teacher lunch—30+ staff members had nothing but rave reviews.
Give Da Nando a try, and tell him Miss Devon sent you!
