I highly recommend this lovely place. The atmosphere is warm, clean, and welcoming, with a nice Caribbean vibe that makes you feel relaxed as soon as you walk in. The food is full of flavor and clearly made with care. It’s great to have a spot like this bringing authentic Caribbean taste to Alaska. Friendly service, good portions, and a comfortable setting. Definitely worth stopping by!

I ordered the steak and shrimp jerk bowl with an extra side of sautéed cabbage, and everything was excellent. The steak was cooked perfectly and well-seasoned with a nice jerk flavor, and the shrimp were juicy and flavorful. The cabbage was also really good — simple but seasoned just right, and a great complement to the rest of the meal.

The last time I had the chance to pick up food from here, I had the goat curry, which i also highly recommend.

While I didn’t stay to eat, everything was clean and welcoming when I arrived. And the scent of great food hit me as soon as I walked in.

Portions were generous, and I have enough to save for later. Definitely one of the better Caribbean-inspired meals I’ve had in a while. I plan to try and visit anytime I’m in the eagle river area.

I was surprised to see Jamaican food in Alaska and didn’t expect much. With that being said, it appeared to be a favorite spot for the locals, they said up front the food was made to order so it wasn’t fast food.
The mac and cheese was creamy, the beef patties were what you would expect. I got the meal with the chicken though and Penne pasta. Oh, it was good! I loved the amount of spice, the pasta was el dente. The issue I had was the chicken was dry and chewy on the edges. As if it had been sitting. That was a drawback. If that is the norm, I would skip it.

We met the owner at a recent local business event and we had to make the drive to Eagle River to support a fellow West Indian Queen . We are so happy that we did! The food was DELICIOUS and took us back to our times in NY and Philly! Every dish was wonderful and the mac & cheese was the BEST in Anchorage (so creamy). The jerk had the perfect blend of spices and savory flavor. We will DEFINITELY revisit in the future! ❤️

Had an amazing first visit here tonight. We were welcomed right away with excellent customer service and a clear explanation of the menu. The food was outstanding—full of flavor with just the right amount of spice. Easily one of our new favorite local spots to support.

I was excited to find this place and drove from Anchorage to experience one of my favorite cuisines: Caribbean. However, the reason for a lower review rating is the cost to size ratio. I ordered the Oxtail at $30 and was shocked to see the portion. Upon tasting it, I was expecting more in my face spices and thought it was good but a little too sweet.

I’ll def come back to try other items as their menu looks amazing, but think they need to rethink their prices. $30 for two pieces of oxtail is a bit much.

I did love the sustainability focus and charity donations. Cheers to a woman owned business.

This place is exactly what Eagle River needed. An authentic ethnic cuisine!! Every dish is made to order, which allows maximum attention to each and every dish. The flavors are out of this world! The service is top notch and the staff is crazy friendly. Your taste buds are their number 1 priority! I’ve never had a bad meal!

The chicken tenders were seasoned somthing fierce. Mind blown! My girlfriend had their Chicken sandwich and was in love. We also shared the Mac & and cheese. So cheese with a mild slap heat to the face, and making you wanting more. YUM YUM get you some!

The food went way beyond what my husband and I had expected. We’re from Anchorage and stopped at a parking lot to taste test and we were blown away. Jerky tacos…a must. Goat curry…gotta try. Brown chicken…bomb dot com. And lastly, our chicken and shrimp bowl is as delicious as all others. Too bad we’re in Anchorage or else we’d be there daily.
