Who doesn’t like good food and football. Ist time trying Da Hot Box and the food was delicious (I had the Smash Cheeseburger and fries) recommend by the owner but y’all this lovely lady said she would eat the fries cold they’re so good. I’m here to say 4 hours later and my 16 month grand daughter to me NO! and is eating these fries….COLD lol Even my burger was good cold When u see the truck stop by and give them a try Warning tho so many good choices hard to decide what u want.

Yes! The owners were quick to suggest the Steak Philly and the Chicken Philly… the flavor of them was delish! Perfect blend of sweet peppers and onion and plenty of cheese… served on a perfectly toasted 6″ bun. (We preferred the steak choice) We ordered with french fries, golden and well seasoned. Who can resist wings? We added 6 mango habanaro… best wings with great heat. We recommend, they were very friendly and fun!!!

Every time I go to Da Hot Box, they never disappoint. The owners are super nice and accommodating. My go to is the Surf ‘n Turf loaded fries. They are soo delicious! The smash burgers and the fish combos are great as well. I highly recommend you go and try them out. You will love it!

I think I’m gonna go to bed early tonight. That grilled shrimp po boy hit me like 80’s Mike Tyson. The shrimp, the peppers, the sauce, spices…..maaaaan that flavor was explosive the way it all came together. And the mastermind running the stand was so nice and down to Earth. He asked if I wanted ketchup with the fries but man I know he secretly knew his fries didn’t need any help. And I obliged. You don’t need ketchup when you got seasoning and a crunch on them fries like what he served up. NO SIR!!!!!

Don’t skip out on the smashburger. Great size and perfect proportion of toppings. Probably the best burger I’ve had in Charleston. The bratwurst was a Johnsonville brat. A little small for the bun but topped in tons of cheese and sauteed peppers and onions. I don’t know what kind of secret sauce they put on it but I wish they sold it in bottles. I was going to take a picture but once I took a bite, I didn’t put it down. I’ll definitely be back for that burger. OMG
