Me and Brea was in the mood for burgers and newly opened “Da Bubs” is what we chose. The smash burgers had thin crispy-edges and seasoned up. They serve what they call “One-bite Wingz” and they gave no resistance falling off the bone!
The best thing about it is they’re open til 2am!

I was here a little over a week ago to watch the Pats Bucs game. It was a slow day, early Sunday afternoon. I had the wings, and a smash burger. It is so so hard to get good wings anywhere (outside of Buffalo or Chicago maybe), needless to say I was skeptical of these when I ordered them. Let me just say, they were absolutely phenomenal. And what a reasonable price too. $10 for the wings and burger alike. Unheard of value for such quality food. The owner James was there and we ended up chatting at the bar for most of the afternoon. Super humble dude, knowledgeable about food, and understands how most restaurants these days, especially post COVID are a bit of a scam. Over priced, low quality food. Absolutely not the case here. Simple menu, but again, fantastic. James is the type of business owner that you hope succeeds. Down to earth dude, great chef. Will 100% be back next time I’m in RDU. Oh! He also gave me several samples of his cookies. No surprise here, also fantastic.

We tried this for the first time due to reviews on social media. A little confusing but keep in mind, this is a food service INSIDE Le Dive Bar. Now we are older folks (50s), but we just loved the atmosphere here! All walks of life and excellent customer service . Food comes out fast, super tasty and excellent low prices. Love the decor here and all the metro seating! Music blaring from the bar and you also (when seated in a booth) hear the bass from the bar below you as well as the one above you! Kinda cool !
Highly suggest The Marty’s smash burger and the Da Fox Shroomie focaccia pizza, along with the Amazing If There is A Better Cookie I Have To Try It (white chocolate) – omg don’t skip this. Not shareable so get a few !
Definitely will be back with friends. Come before 7 to get a good seat.

Pretty decent dive bar / restaurant. Walk up to bar to order. I ordered the focaccia bites and a burger. The burger had great flavor and the fries seasoned to perfection! Great smash burger with a great crisp. The focaccia on the other hand left a lot to be desired. Focaccia is supposed to be moist and tender. Theirs was flat and dry. It was rewarmed for serving which left it very crisp. Cannot recommend those if you’re expecting a real focaccia bread. It’s only $5 so not a huge loss there. I had one piece as you can see from the picture – and left the rest to be trashed. Felt bad but too hard to eat. I did leave my feedback with the bartender working today. Want to come back and try the wings – high ratings for those in Google.

This is such a cool place! Plenty of seating inside and very spacious. The food was Da Bomb and carnivore friendly. I had wings, delicious and fell right off the bone and bonus points for fried in beef tallow. You can order burger patties with or without cheese à la cart which a lot of places won’t do or they will charge you full price. The owners are super nice and very accommodating. Highly recommended for anyone in the area and it’s a short and easy walk from the convention center.

I went in a group of 3 and basically sampled the entire menu. The owner is the chef and he is an enlightened fellow. We talked with the staff and learned more of the backstory of the restaurant and the menu, which are both intriguing.
The focaccia pizza is astonishing. The one bite wings are easy to eat. The smash burgers are actually smashed and delicious (only $10 too!). The fries are well seasoned and the cookie is a fitting way to end your meal.
Very chill environment, great for groups, hungry and thirsty.

Food is phenomenal! The one-bite wings are death-worthy; They’re part of my death row meal. The focaccia pizza is chewy, cheesey, and crispy. All this and an extremely friendly staff make this place a standout in Raleigh.

Not one bad thing to say, everything was amazing! Came in for the burgers which were hot, fresh, and flavorful. The French onion soup caught our eye and boy oh boy it blew us away! Hearty, hot, cheesy, delicious. The bartender and I were chatting and he mentioned how the wings are great because they remove all the cartilage and extra flat bones during prep so it’s truly a one bite wing so we tried those as well and did not regret it. We left happy and too full lol. Side note, fries were awesome too.
