We were treated at work by Da Blue Lagoon food truck! I chose the coconut curry chicken and fried plantains. The beans and rice was moist and flavorful – not dry at all! The coconut curry chicken was outstanding and the fried plantains were delicious as well. Service was fast and friendly.

Came here for lunch on a whim after seeing it driving past the night before, Graham was super friendly, the food looked fantastic and tasted great. I got the cheesy beef patty and both the dough and filling was absolutely delicious. I also got the jerk chicken with rice & beans and fried plantains. The chicken had a good heat to it without sacrificing flavor, paired well with the rice and beans that were perfectly seasoned, and the plantains were an excellent palate cleanser. If I had to nitpick, the chicken was maybe a little overcooked, but I came in at the very end of their lunch service, and I also cleaned my plate so it clearly didn’t bother me that badly. I do not live in this area, but I have family that does so I will definitely be back and will be bringing them with me.

If you’re looking for an incredible dining experience that won’t break the bank, you absolutely need to try this restaurant! The authentic Jamaican food here is nothing short of amazing. Each dish bursts with flavor and showcases the rich culinary traditions of Jamaica. From the spicy jerk chicken to the savory curried goat, every bite transports you to a tropical paradise. The portions are generous, and the prices are unbelievably reasonable, making it a must-visit for anyone who loves good food at a great value. Don’t miss out on this gem—your taste buds will thank you!

Great music. I highly recommend this place.

The owner is very nice and transparent. He is a very driven and motivated person. He has an amazing story regarding how he started his business.

There is so much food to order and I would like to try the dessert next time around.

I like the vibe, decorations, of course the music and it was a great crowd.

Wow — what an amazing experience! This was some of the best and most authentic Jamaican food I’ve had. The Jerk Chicken Alfredo was absolutely delicious — creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced with just the right touch of spice to keep things exciting without overpowering the dish. Every bite was packed with flavor, and you could really taste the love and authenticity that went into it. The service was just as wonderful — welcoming, friendly, and made me feel right at home. I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes. Highly recommend to anyone looking for incredible Jamaican cuisine!

We ordered 2 jerk chicken lunch specials. The rice & peas were good, the butter vegetables (cabbage) was AMAZING!! The jerk chicken wasn’t good. It was very hard and seem to be old. It was like some re-heated chicken from yesterday maybe? It was also more bones than chicken. I would go back and try something else but I wouldn’t get the chicken again. I am from Chicago & I love Jamaican food and eat it very often. Jerk chicken is not suppose to be dry and hard like that. That lets me know it was not made fresh off the grill.

This place had good service. I really hate to leave a review but I have to be honest. This was THE WORST JAMAICAN CUISINE I HAVE EVER HAD! It was salty it was burnt and lacked flavor all at the same time. The portions were small, they were literally giving us scraps. I ended up throwing my food away. I COULDN’T eat it. None of the adults that the food was really for ate it. On top of that it was expensive. We paid $86 for this. ‍♀️I’m Sorry for leaving this because again the service was great but the food was absolutely terrible. And I hope others don’t make the mistake I made.
