Wonderful food, friendly service and a cozy atmosphere. The special today was grilled filet, chicken and sausage over potato wedges with a light sauce. Delicious! A good wine and cocktail list, and wide range of meal choices with customizable pasta dishes makes this a great date night or family/friend gathering site. Best for a night out! Reservations recommended on Friday and Saturday nights as even the hightop/bar seating gets booked up quickly during peak times.

My husband and I got takeout on Valentine’s Day and I can honestly say, it was one of the best meals we ever had. We are still dreaming about the food! I had the Vesuvio and he had Frutti di Mare. We could not stop talking about how impressed we were by the taste & the portions we got. You could share them with 2-3 people. He went in to pick up the food and he said the staff was so kind and helpful. We will definitely be returning and I have already made sure to recommend it to everyone I know!

Charming little gem in downtown Crystal Lake. Reservations needed during prime time. I really liked choosing my own pasta shape, sauce and add-ons. Plenty of parking in the lot behind the main street block.

First time eating here and we can’t wait to come back to try more. We felt like we were transported to Italy for the night! I would recommend their handmade cheese tortellini, I paired with the vodka sauce which was excellent. Cheesecake for dessert is a must!

We love to come here for dinner. The food is so good, great portion size and the flavor is amazing. We have had Dylan a couple of times and he is my absolute favorite. He’s fun and knowledgeable about the menu as well as super attentive.

This was a nice surprise. The restaurant is set in an old storefront with brick walls. The vibes are good and the staff are friendly and helpful. Very relaxed but got really crowded on a Wednesday night. Good wine selection and solid cocktail options. I had the short rib bucantini and my partner had the gnocchi with red meat sauce. The bucatini was a special dish using the chef’s sister’s recipe. She’s a chef at a restaurant in Italy. The dish was outstanding, the best and only matched by a similar dish I had in Italy. The gnocchi was delicious and the red sauce had a robust flavor. I highly recommend a stop in, you won’t be disappointed in the specials.

This was my second time here and it did not disappoint! We had Darren as our server both times. He is fantastic! He’s friendly, knowledgeable, attentive and excited about what he is serving. The wine and drink selection is great. The food is delicious. It comes out fresh and hot, and very accommodating for someone in our party who had an allergy to olive oil. (Hard for a lot of Italian restaurants.) We had chicken parm, sausage mushroom pappardelle, rigatoni with vodka sauce and the time before, chicken piccata. Portions are generous so pricing is on point. Everything was wonderful! Dessert… delish! Atmosphere is quaint. Be sure to make reservations!

We were finally able to eat dinner at this restaurant. Food was good. Fried calamari was one of the best we ever had. My chicken parmesan was a bit overdone but nothing horrible. Our waiter was very friendly and nice during our entire meal. Dessert was delicious. Cannoli flight is the way to go.
