Gluten-free safety:
There are gluten-free options available.

Vegetarian options:
Most dishes can be adapted to vegetarian options.

‍ Staff knowledge:
The staff were very kind, attentive, and provided quick service.

What I ordered:
Gluten-free Margherita pizza.

Value for money:
Fair for the quality and portion size.

Would I go back?
Yes!!
It wasn’t a typical Italian gluten-free pizza, but we’re in Australia, it was very tasty and I really enjoyed it.
The place is very cute.

We ordered three dishes: the handmade cream bacon pasta, the seafood risotto, and tiramisu.

Cream Bacon Pasta
The creamy flavor was very rich and smooth. If you’re a fan of creamy dishes, you’ll definitely love this one.

Seafood Risotto
The seafood portion was generous and satisfying. The tomato-based sauce was slightly salty toward the end, but still acceptable overall.

Tiramisu
Very delicious. If you’re looking to add a dessert after your meal, this is a great choice.

Da Angelo is the epitome of Italian cuisine in Hobart, and I couldn’t agree more! It is a popular spot, but I managed to snag a table just before 5:30 pm. The pasta was incredible, even better than what I had in Rome. The seafood is fresh & elevated the taste of pasta.

The service is top-notch and incredibly efficient. If I visit again, I’d love to try their risotto or pizza. Don’t miss out on this gem when you’re in Hobart – make sure to reserve a table!

I made it back for a second visit this trip! And had the seafood risotto which was incredible as well.

This is such a solid Italian restaurant with excellent service. The menu is huge with lots of variety. It’s rustic style comfort food. Portions are decent. Pizza is medium thickness. They do lots of takeaway

D’Angelo Restaurant is the best Italian food I’ve ever had. Every dish was full of flavour and clearly made with care and passion.

The standout was the Pollo Paesana — without exaggeration, the best pasta I’ve had in my life. Incredibly unique and unlike anything I’ve had before.

It’s incredibly family friendly, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer than planned. For footy fans there is Carlton memorabilia on display, which adds real character.

The service. Absolutely outstanding — attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish.

If you’re in Hobart and love authentic Italian, this place is an absolute must.

Great value, very generous serve for a city centre meal takeaway. Staff members are super friendly and cheerful. However the losanga I ordered was too salty. The noodles are okay but not as impressive as the ratings. Maybe I shall try the seafood dish instead of beef.

We are on an adventure bike ride from Melbourne and the 4 of us stumbled across this restaurant this evening. Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner and told they were booked out however let’s see what we can move around to accommodate you all.
And that he did, within 5 minutes we had a table and the waitress attended to us straight away. Each one of us ordered different meals, from pizza to risotto and pasta accomplished with a bottle of Shiraz.
All the meals were sensational both in taste and presentation with a great service.
We are coming back tomorrow night for more.
Love your food, Love your service, Love your atmosphere. WELL DONE TO ALL THE STAFF.

Lovely pasta, very nice atmosphere and terrific service.

We had the stratiatella soup as an entre, gnocchi Bolognese and fettuccine marinara as mains and the creme broulet as dessert. It was all exquisite.
