These roni rolls are addicting and a great comfort food. Last time I ordered in January, it took almost two hours for it to be delivered. That was around opening.
This time it took over an hour, but it was past 10pm on a Friday, so I expected it. I had two issues with this order.
1. I never got an order confirmation email. System issue? The only reason I knew the order went through was because I was charged. Called the store over an hour after ordering and was on hold for ten minutes. Right when it hit the ten mark, I got a text saying it was delivered.
2. They forgot the drink I ordered. Happens, not a huge deal.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I didn’t want to cook tonight and I was unclear what to do for dinner. DP texted me a promotional and that’s what we had! It arrived early, was still piping hot and it was delicious, as usual! We have never had any issue with DP’s service or quality and they will continue to be a fav of ours…and the super late delivery has saved us on several occasions when life happens, you lose track of time, you are hungry and realize no one is open!

Classic college-town sandwich shop that’s way better than it looks. The bread is soft, fillings are generous, and everything comes out fast. Nothing fancy, just solid comfort food after a long day. Place has that slightly chaotic lunch rush energy that somehow works.

Cheese Stix were excellent!
Speed Zone was okay – the cheese was mostly in the middle so the outside was lacking in moistness.
Italian Zone was great.
*4 star simply because the speed zone was not up to par, but would be will to try again.*

Mediocre at best. For perspective this was late night eats, I was starving after skipping dinner. Got the cheese sticks; they were burnt w/ little cheese. Had the “Spinner Zone” calzon with added pesto and tomatoes; there was very little flavor. However, I was pleasantly surprised, it was quite stuffed and lacked the excess bread that many places have. In fact, compared to some places I’ve eaten, you could consider it the “thin crust of calzons”. The tomato sauce (on the side) was extremely sweet. Think a cross between Ragu and ketchup. Be advised the butter dipping sauce is butter, not garlic butter. Overall, sadly disappointed and this little foodie tossed more than 3/4 of the food. Would not repeat.

I would like to preface this paragraph by saying that I do not typically write reviews for restaurants; however, this one was a bit too frustrating for me to ignore.
I ordered food from DP Dough at 2:25am on Saturday evening/Sunday morning with an estimated delivery of 3:10am. The food ended up showing up at 4:23am according to a text I found the next morning. I had fallen asleep a bit after 3:30am and woke up to stale food on the doorstep in the morning. I wish I would have been contacted about further delays because I would have requested my order to be cancelled. I tried to contact DP Dough Manhattan on Facebook that Sunday morning and they left me on read. I wish this could have been avoided because $31 worth of food went to waste and some poor delivery driver had to pound on my door at 4:23am only for that food to go to waste. This whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth.

Waited for 2 hours and never even got my food. This place can never keep up with orders. The food is good but not good enough to wait that long for. Waited at the counter for 30 minutes before anyone even came up to cancel my order. I get that they get busy but nobody should wait for 2 hours. If they can’t handle it they should hire more people or stop taking orders. Ridiculous.

I never give reviews for restaurants but this place needs to be steered away from. If you’re not a drunk college student actively waiting for your order than you will not get it in under an hour. The people are great but they are so obviously short staffed that it’s not even worth the hassle ordering here anymore. The food is decent but never worth the always ridiculous long wait. It’s sadly going to be another failed business if things don’t change fast. Pizza shuttle is a much better option than this place
