Social Profile:

We deliver calzones and are open crazy late! A whole new approach to pizza! Our niche is our Zone branded calzones. We have a trademark dough recipe which we use to make our dough, in-house and from scratch each day. This, combined with our fresh veggies and fruits, plus well-cooked meats help to create mouth-watering calzones, cheese stix and homemade cookies which have been delighting our hungry customers since 1987! You can choose from our top 25 list (and modify in any way) or you can create your own (Construction Zone). Our calzones are typically one per person and we do chop them in half for you! They come with a dipping sauce – typically, marinara. Thank you for checking us out!

Local chain open late for calzones with diverse fillings, including chili dog & cheesecake versions.

Davis Not so crazy Now huh “CRAZY” Mize
I stopped in at 3:30 a.m. and was pleasantly surprised that they were still open. I chose the steak and cheese calzone. They do calzones, tots and dessert calzones. I’ll post an image of the menu.

Last night I ordered the pound of boneless wings. Going in the food was good. However about 7 hrs later I was stuck on the toilet. Definitely due to something I ate. This was the last thing I ate before going to sleep only to wake up to stomach cramps then diarrhea.

Great service and good food. They gave the outside crust of the calzone a decent bake and filled it adequately with the ingredients I ordered.

Edit: Recently used their online ordering option. Placed order at 12:50a on a Monday and it arrived at 1:45a. Food was reasonably warm on arrival.

I ended up getting a text from David after I left the review at the bottom and I am not only impressed at how willing he is to reach out to his clientele, but his willingness to make things right with his customers. Super nice guy, very easygoing, totally a person you’d have a beer with.

I learned a few things that have made me change my impression: adding spices is an extra, so make sure you ask for it (“hook it up”). If you order through EatStreet, they charge extra for popular items because they charge DP Dough a commission fee. That being said, if you ask for extra sauces like marinara on the side and you order through EatStreet, they might not give it to you because technically you didn’t pay for it– this is something they are working to figure out, though. If you call them directly, their prices are a bit lower and you’d get to talk to nice-guy David! Bonuses are always a treat. I respect this company. Also, their delivery drivers are kind and gentle with your food.

Previous post: 4 dollars for cheese tots isn’t worth it. There were no spices on the calzone so it was super bland. I asked for sour cream and marinara and got neither except for ketchup. Go to Eddie’s Calzones instead– more tots, better cheese, spices on the Calzones and the fully fulfill your order.

My first visit to this joint was an enjoyable one. The price and the food is really good. You must have the chicken wings with hot sauce… YOU’LL GO GAGA!

We enjoyed the wings with cheese bread as well as the traditional Calzone, all under 20 dollars. YUM!

Ordered delivery and this is the “cookie” I received. It was not even baked correctly and all 3 were smushed and burnt like this one. The cheese was not even inside one of the calzones. They tried to refuse me a refund but was I eventually promised one. The refund was nickeled and dimed, if you are a decent place of business you will refund the entire order instead of that BS. They will no longer receive my or my friends’ business. If you want sub-par, overpriced food on a late night go for it.

Prices are reasonable. I ordered Spinner Calzone. And I was not impressed. The dough was general quality, would have been better if brushed with garlic butter…the calzone was a bit undercooked. Rather than having a creamy spinach and feta filling…topped with stringy mozzarella, it was stuffed with mozzarella with FEW leaves of spinach…with no feta and garlic in sight or taste…overall a dry mass of dough and cheese…

My calzone was dry and pretty tasteless. Long wait time on game day, but very friendly staff. The toppings I got (onions and mushrooms) were raw, and the dough was also raw in spots. Won’t be returning

The calzone was excellent! I was torn between Maui Wowi and the Italian. I ended up ordering Italian because it was the zone of the day. Walked back to the hotel and realized I was given a Maui Wowi and it did not disappoint! Will be going back
