The calzone was a little dry,yet very good. Especially for the price. Plenty big to share or take home for leftovers. A good value. Even for the wait time. The staff wasn’t exactly rude, more like unprofessional.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. They have a large variety to choose from, so it never gets boring. They are very friendly and my food has never been wrong. The prices are very good. Top that off with their hours, which are able to serve the lunch or dinner hours, but also able to handle that late night craving or cure the case of munchies when you’ve been partying!

Different but good.
I’ve been making an effort to try newer places in town recently. DP has been on Summers st for a few years now. I was attracted by their low prices and order the mix & match special using the app for pick up.
The DP Dunkers were quite good. All white meat, whole muscle chicken which I had tossed in the sweet chili. The sweet chili had a real nice burn. I recommend adding some to an order.
The chicken Parmesan calzone was different from what I was expecting. The dough is quite soft with little chew. Now I bet some people prefer this but I like it to put up a little fight. Also the cheese wasn’t entirely melted so I might order it well done next time. The chicken tasted good but the red sauce was….mid.
Service was prompt. Restaurant was clean and in good order.

Delicious! I had the chicken bacon zone and my mom had the combat zone. Enough food for lunch and left overs for dinner.

Disappointed. I didn’t enjoy calzone. There is missing foods inside calzone while eating. Hard to find car parking. Beautiful building style. Allow open business time by midnight. Good business with customers.

This place came in clutch, we had stopped at adelphia sports bar & grille around the block from DP Dough. It was the worst experience we have had in a really really long time! The food and service here was great here though. Wasn’t really wanting to get pizza or a calzone, but really did not want to deal with that other place after they had us waiting for an hour and told us it would only be 20 minutes two different times.

Not the best place if you want a quick bite, but if you have over half an hour to spare, the quality of the food is well worth it. Not being from the Mountain State I had to try one of West Virginia’s greatest food inventions: the pizza roll.
Suffice to say, I was not disappointed. This for sure beats California style pizza, beats normal pizza, and might even beat Chicago style pizza. The “Roni Rolls” (pepperoni rolls) came in eight pieces that were surprisingly filling. A perfect amount of parmesan and garlic were on the rolls. Would definitely recommend!

Many, many kinds of calzones, along with other food. You can make a custom calzone if you wish. I had a mixed cheese with ham only. It was well made, but I’m used to a NJ calzone with much more ricotta cheese and a little less mozzarella. Mine came with a fresh made marinara dipping sauce. I enjoyed it, and I guess as a WV calzone, it was perfect.
Fast, friendly service. Open for lunch dinner and late night (3am). Parking on street ot there’s a parking garage.
