A little hard to find, tucked behind another building, but with the effort for the friendly, helpful staff and delicious Navajo dishes.

DNM Grillen Native serves delicious mutton sandwiches on fry bread!
The staff was friendly and welcoming as soon as we walked in. We tried the mutton sandwich on fry bread for the first time, and while it was a little mild (I tend to go for spicier food), it was clear the sandwich was made with fresh ingredients and allowed you to customize the heat level to your preference.
We went for lunch and the place was pretty quiet, with only a few other customers. Our food came out fast and piping hot!
Heads up: This hidden gem can be a bit tricky to find. It’s located behind some vendors in a parking lot, right in the middle of a mobile home row. Don’t let that deter you though, because this place is definitely worth checking out!
Overall, I highly recommend DNM Grillen Native! I will absolutely be back.

Maybe not the most obvious place to find from the highway, but make the effort. EXCELLENT food. Had both the Roast Mutton and Mutton Stew, both were top notch. The Fry Bread is as good as it gets. Ordered a second round of that. Friendly people, good value and well worth a stop.

Don’t let the location fool you. This place has incredible food!!! The vegetable soup with mutton was one of the best things I’ve eaten in a long time. Very simple, but very delicious!!!

Their roast mutton is sooooo good, it is juicy and tender. Their frybread is nice and soft but also got some crunch to it. They have a huge selection of soda, I didn’t know which one to get. Highly likely I am going to go back sometime soon.
