We’ve been coming to De La Santa for about two and a half years, and we love it more every time we visit. From the moment you walk in, you feel genuinely welcomed. Angelica, the owner, and her daughter are truly amazing and make every experience special.
The food is always delicious, but today was especially meaningful, seeing Angelica’s mother there reminded us that this place is built on generations of love, tradition, and family. You can feel that care in every dish.
Thank you for consistently providing incredible food and such a warm, loving environment. De La Santa is truly something special.

Authentic homemade Mexican food with such wonderful staff! Stephanie was so lovely when my husband and I went in for dinner (which was INCREDIBLE) and told us about their brunch. Of course we had to go back and WOW. Brunch was dynamite.
My husband and I are both from SoCal and he is Mexican so we know the real deal, and let me tell you this is the real deal! You must try!!

Everyone is so nice here!! Our waiter helped explain dishes we were unsure about and even pulled up pictures to help describe them better.
Our food came out super fast and we didn’t wait that long for our dessert either. My partner and I tried dishes we’d never had before (nopal and carne en jugo) and we both loved them!!! We had flan for desert and it was so silky smooth and so so tasty. The food felt very traditional and I’ve probably never tasted anything better in my life.
It was pretty loud in the restaurant, but not in an off-putting way. We loved our experience and we’re excited to come back next time we’re in Seattle!!!

I recently dined at DelaSanta, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The star of the evening was my hand cut 62 oz Tomahawk steak, cooked to absolute perfection. The crust was beautifully seared, the interior flawlessly tender, and each bite delivered that rich, buttery depth you only get from truly expert preparation. It’s the kind of steak that makes you pause mid-conversation just to appreciate it.
Equally impressive was the chiles en nogada, a dish that can be difficult to balance but here was executed masterfully. The poblano pepper was tender without losing structure, the filling was warmly spiced and flavorful, and the creamy nogada sauce added a luxurious sweetness that tied everything together. Finished with the bright pop of pomegranate seeds, it was both visually stunning and authentically delicious.
On top of the outstanding food, the service from Mauricio and our Server was exceptional. He was attentive without ever feeling intrusive, genuinely warm, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Between the incredible dishes and Mauricio’s top-tier service, DlaSanta has firmly earned a spot on my list of must-visit dining experiences. If you’re looking for elevated cuisine that celebrates both technique and tradition, this is the place to go. Salud!

We had such a great experience! Mauricio was excellent fast, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. He totally sold us on the mimosas, and I’m so glad he did because they were perfect. The food was excellent and beautifully presented, you can tell a lot of care goes into every plate. The vibes were immaculate.
We’ll definitely be back when we return to Seattle to try out dinner!

This is hands down the best Mexican food I’ve ever had in Seattle! The dishes were incredibly authentic — it honestly felt like a true home-cooked meal. The staff was super friendly, and the pan dulce was fire. The hot chocolate was amazing too! I have nothing but good things to say about this place. It’s officially my go-to Mexican restaurant whenever I visit Seattle!

The food was good and the environment was lovely warm, inviting, and exactly the kind of place you want to enjoy a Mexican brunch. The dishes were flavorful and about as close to authentic as it gets, which I truly appreciated.
Unfortunately, the experience was significantly impacted by the host. I’ve heard from others that the service here wasn’t great, and after visiting, I now understand that it’s not the table service that’s the issue, it’s the initial welcome into the restaurant. That first interaction sets the tone for the entire experience, and in this case, it unfortunately ruined what could have been a very enjoyable visit.
I genuinely believe that reconsidering the host position would dramatically improve the overall experience for guests, and I’m sure many would agree. If i’m being honest, I’m surprised someone looking like that would have that much of an audacity. I added a picture as to not cause mixups with other hosts.
With a better first impression, this restaurant could easily become a favorite. Aside from that, the food, server and atmosphere were great. It doesn’t help that upon arrival the host told us it was going to be a 45 minute to an hour wait, which I agreed to. Only for it to be a 10 minute wait. She must be delusional if she thinks a 45 minute wait with two parties ahead is an accurate quote.
I would’ve rated this restaurant a 4.5 star but because of the initial welcome, I would rate it at 3 or a 2.5 star.

Whatever the tree decor in the middle is, I’m here for it. I’m from Chicago so don’t test me when it comes to tacos but this vibe and energy is everything I needed tonight. And Germàn! Took care of us the whole night. Want to remember walking in and not walking out? Get the skull margarita

My favorite Mexican restaurant in Seattle! There is no comparison at the quality, customer service, consistency, and delicious food you get. This family establishment is awesome, the family will come by your table and greet you and if you’re a local they will know you by name or remember you if you go in often enough. We’ve been going for years and I’m loyal to this wonderful restaurant because it’s so good, the food is really something to rave about! The rice is my favorite thing in the world, if I could fill up a tub with rice for my birthday, I would, and I would be the happiest person in the world! Every time we are in town, we stop by and have dinner, the atmosphere is a vibe, it’s beautiful inside and bustling without it being too busy. Service is on point and at the end of my delicious meal, I always get two orders of rice to go because it’s just that good. My rice is good, my momma’s rice was better, but their rice is on another level! After dinner, sometimes they’ll come by with concha’s and Mexican hot chocolate and it’s the perfect way to end a meal. If you like margaritas or drinks, they are also refreshing and tasty, not overly sweet like some places make them. This place is an absolute must try, must go, don’t sleep on this place.
