Reviews
Our waiter, Preston, was the best. He was attentive and accommodating. I didn’t get the hostess name but, she greeted us with a smile when we walked in, and she made us feel welcomed throughout the entire meal.
We came for lunch and no wait time.
We ordered:
Deviled eggs – solid
Smoked Salmon – nice sauce
Chinese Chicken Salad (I would prefer them to just name it Asian, not sure what made it specifically Chinese) – good flavors though
Next time, I want to try their pizzas!
Overall, not bad spot. Really vibey, seems like it would be busier on dinner nights.
I ordered a non-alcoholic beverage, but they brought me the drink with alcohol in it. They placed “nonalcoholic” in parentheses on their menu, which I feel causes confusion.
Overall, we liked our dining experience at the restaurant. Fun atmosphere with old Chicago decor. Delicious food, especially the pizza! Good service.
Make reservations because it gets busy!
No valet, but you can park in the lot or the nearby garage with its public entrance on the other side. You can also park on the neighborhood street. Pay attention to signs.
Firstly, we love the space. It was a modern take on an old school vibe. So good.
For the food, we ordered their Chicken Parm and the Cheese Tortellini with the creamy pesto sauce. The Chicken Parm came with the spicy rigatoni. The chicken was incredible, but the spicy rigatoni was just okay. It looks better than it tastes. It wasn’t bad, just kind of lackluster.
The Cheese Tortellini, however, was incredible. We were OBSESSED. It’s very rich, but man if you like rich, get it. I paired it with a Dirty Martini, for no other reason than I love Dirty Martinis, and it was perfect. My boyfriend liked his drinks as well – they made a very strong margarita.
Their mozzarella bites were so good and the Caesar salad was unique. I would likely skip the salad next time.
We can’t wait to go back and try the other items. Their sandwiches look incredible. So does the pizza.
This place is on the top 5 list!
