Neighborhood bar, and it worked. Tuesday so nothing special was expected. Decent prices and the fish and chips was pretty damned good. Seemed to be good people there, customers and staff. I liked it. It probably is pretty fun on a weekend night.

We was playing pool and noticed the snack menu had fried pickles .. ordered some but couldn’t really eats but a few of them because they was way over cooked.. they was so hard.. they hurt my teeth.. she should of never served them to me.. but she did. Some girls that work at bars need to pay more attention to what they should b doing and not flirting with every drunk men in the house.. because if u can’t cook then ain’t no man gonna want u anyway. And I was looking forward to those pickles.. those was just nasty..

its like a desert cheers bar, its been a standard in bars and has stood the test of time, lovely outdoor place to take your drinks and the new owners love to do upgrades like that, great entertainment on weekends, and the regular locals have the time for a deep historical or a thoughtful conversation. Love happy hour there!! The bar tenders are lovely and know what to pour when you call the “shots” been my favorite bar for 18 years now!!
