Your bartender…SAM…Thought it was okay to make fun of an old man…this old man graduated from Burroughs and was drafted…spent 2 years in the jungle…watched many men die…..have 2 holes from enemy gunfire…in my body…and your bartender made fun of me…because of my age….after the war I became an Orthopedic surgeon….laughing now SAM…Ridgecrest is where grew up..I own a home and 15 acres here….more property in Oregon….Washington…and Montana….I will make sure to close your business unless you get honorable staff

I came to this bar to have a beer with my girlfriend and a friend. There was a bartender, a young woman with a tattoo, I haven’t felt such a bad attitude towards me for a long time. When she heard my Russian accent, she looked at me very rudely and was very impolite. I am not guilty of anything, I was decently dressed, I do not like discrimination based on nationality. Awesome playlist. Bartender was cool. All occupiers were civilians,. laughed about my asking for “the Head”, after i walked away. So, clueless as to how an Infantry Marine speaks, or refers to a restroom. Feel there may be weekend safety briefings, advising personnel stationed aboard the China Lake military installation to stay away from this place. But then, most the local riff raff look pretty tough, compared to your average lil’ Navy Squid. Decent enough bar, that I’ll be walking back over for a 2cnd visit this evening.

Local dive which is usually my go to but this one didn’t seem to care for the customers. Wouldn’t open a TAB, didn’t know how to get the football game on the TV, Michelada was pretty bad, hottest hotwings were sweet. There’s not many options around here but this is the worse I found here so far.

its like a desert cheers bar, its been a standard in bars and has stood the test of time, lovely outdoor place to take your drinks and the new owners love to do upgrades like that, great entertainment on weekends, and the regular locals have the time for a deep historical or a thoughtful conversation. Love happy hour there!! The bar tenders are lovely and know what to pour when you call the “shots” been my favorite bar for 18 years now!!
