Hate to give bad reviews but it’s unacceptable due to her being on the phone I feel such mistake was made, I shared my food with my mother. I was the one who bit down on the plastic inside my burger. I live in MN, visiting my mom walked past this adorable place, my order was turkey burger and mango lemonade (little to none ketchup was gave for my fry’s and red a coffee straw). I hired D & D Fresh Food to cater my birthday party at Darrin’s Bar. My order included a pan of chicken (75 pieces), egg rolls (cut into 40 pieces), and mac and cheese.
From the start, there was excessive back and forth with my order and pricing, which raised concerns. When I went in to pay, staff appeared overwhelmed, and I overheard concerns about not having enough help for a busy day.
On the night of my party, I was told the food would be delivered, but I ended up having to send someone to pick it up. I let it go and continued enjoying my birthday.
The chicken and egg rolls were very good, especially the egg rolls. However, the mac and cheese was extremely dry and unappetizing, and most of it went uneaten.
The following day, less than 24 hours later, I contacted the owner to provide feedback. Instead of professionalism or understanding, the conversation became argumentative, and my concern was dismissed. I even offered to accept replacement egg rolls instead of reimbursement and was offered only 10 egg rolls for a $65 pan that went to waste. I was also questioned about not returning the food the night of my party, which was unreasonable while hosting and drinking.
While some of the food was good, the lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer care left me disappointed.

I ordered a pan of egg rolls along with jerk chicken, and everything came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The food was absolutely delicious, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with care. I’ll definitely be ordering again!

Ordered grilled shrimp and chicken with rice and vegetables. This was a very taste-less meal. The yellow rice was dry, unseasoned and overly spicy. The vegetables were unseasoned. The shrimp were fresh but no seasoning and the chicken wings had feathers fried on them. This was the first and last time ordering from D&D.

I would leave zero stars if I could. They played entirely with my food. The chicken was so hard and had feathers that seemed to be dried out and old! I nearly threw up eating this chicken because it had no flavor whatsoever, had somewhat of a burnt taste, and had a few black spots. The potato had entirely too much cheese; I couldn’t see what I was really eating. The seasoning looks just thrown on top, and the chicken was too greasy which was entirely too spicy. I TASTED SOMETHING CRUNCHY IN MY POTATO IDK WHAT IT WAS BUT IT LOOKED LIKE CLUMPED UP SEASONING. I had this order before, and the spice was more enjoyable. I’m out of $20, and I’m still hungry. I used to support this business because it wasn’t my first time there, but after this, it’ll be my last. I don’t play about people playing in my food! Save yourself some money and go somewhere else

Ordered on an app for a pickup. Got there and was told my food was given to someone else and had to wait 20 more minutes. The guy had a REAL ATTITUDE problem. No apology for the mix up or anything. Not even a thank you for your purchase. And the food was substandard at BEST

I had the jerk burger and my wife had the catfish nuggets plate. The burger was absolutely amazing. And fish was perfectly cooked. Great seasoning and very crunchy. The customer service was very dry and un-inviting but get past that and the food was amazing.
