Brushetta is amazing, chicken a la Marsala and Parmigiana di Melanzane were piping hot and delicious.
My husband ordered the cherry old fashioned, he was not disappointed and the Italian beer Menabrea Ambrata was delicious on it’s own and paired well with our dish.
You will not be disappointed here!
PLUS: the vibe/decoration is super nice
PLUS 2: on Wednesday they have $10 off on the wine bottle
PLUS 3: the owner/receptionist was so gentle and playful, we love it!
I ordered the Selezione Di Pasta which is a build your own pasta kind of thing. You can choose from 10 different pastas and 10 different sauces. I chose linguini, Alfredo sauce, and added grilled chicken. It was delicious and quite filling. Everyone else seemed to enjoy what they ordered as well.
To top things off, we all ordered cannolis for desert. If you have room, I suggest ordering one.
I tasted the marinara sauce. It was quite savory. In the future, I could see ordering the Selezione Di Pasta with linguini, marinara sauce, and the Italian salsiccia (sausage) links. I bet that would be a great combination. I also tasted the sauce from the Pollo alla Marsala. I’m not much of a fan of sweet sauces but that was pretty good and I would probably order that for myself sometime.
One of these days, I would like to go back and try their pizza. I saw one on someone’s table as we were being seated and it and it looked really good.
Our server was friendly and quite attentive. The ambiance is nice, especially with a little Dean Martin playing in the background. Overall, it was a great experience.
Meatballs that melt in your mouth, authentic new york style pizza and eggplant parm like Grandma used to make..
The seven-course meal was absolutely amazing. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and tasted impeccable. The wine selection was delicious, and we truly appreciated the intimate, mom-and-pop feel of the restaurant.
The dark, romantic ambiance created the perfect setting to connect with my husband, and the single rose at the end was such a sweet finishing touch.
The waitstaff were attentive and wonderful throughout the evening. We will definitely be coming back.
Walking in I knew it was going to be an amazing night. Funky decor, all the waiters seemingly are family and EVERYONE is smiling. At closing, absolutely all the staff will be taking home Italian food AGAIN and loving every slurp.
I cannot tell you how amazing the chicken parm is (waiter’s recommendation). I have never had a meal soooo close to my friend’s grandma’s, who doesn’t speak a lick of English, home cooked starving college kid meal!! The Al Capone pasta, while new to me, was a riddles with flavors and exactly what I am getting next time. The bread, real wine, hilarious friendly service…enjoy.
