I ordered 1 Hawaiian mixed plate online, they charged a fee to remove cabbage from the plate, total was about $20. Food was ready on time and I picked up without issues. There was only one short rib and it tasted like it was microwaved, not much beef, mostly chicken.

I love Hawaiian food. Was excited for a new place closer to home. I spent 29 bucks on 1 meal a 3 dollar tip and then they asked for 25 Cents for a extra sauce. Unbelievable. Last time my family will go there. The other store never asked anything for extra sauce. C u. Going back to L&L in SB.

I was going to give this place a chance, but then I heard a crashing in the back while I was waiting for my take out order. It was so loud that guests were jumping at each crash.
I asked the lady at the front what was going on. Her reply was that they slam frozen meat on the floor to “defrost” it.
Mind you, there was just a case of this exact thing involving a restaurant in Westminster, CA and public health shut it down. This is highly unsanitary.
Needless to say, this grossed me out. I will not be returning.

I got a chicken bowl The Price is Right and they gave you plenty of food but there was no sauce typically I get a teriyaki bowl and there’s some gooey teriyaki sauce to blend in with the rice and vegetables

I got the katsu plate and wow is this good, freshly fried and big portions too ! Love that. Got their spam masubi and was 10/10 came with this sweet sauce, didn’t know if it was for the spam or the katsu, but it completed the meal !

The staff were rude and did not even know their own menu. I asked a question about the menu and the 3 workers all huddled up and began talking in a different language. Then they all looked at me without saying anything, expecting me to know wha they had discussed in their huddle. I had to remind them I was not a part of their conversation so I could not hear or understand them. When we received our food, we asked for teriyaki sauce and they said they already put some in the bag. For 3 plates of food, they gave us one tiny cup of teriyaki sauce. Inside my food, I found pieces of burnt grill throughout my meats. Very disappointed in the how poor quality everything was for a newly opened restaurant.

Solid Hawaiian barbecue place, I have only been to this location. The food was good and you get a large serving. I had the chicken combo and both the katsu and bbq chicken were good. I’d come back again.
