My wife and I took an overnight trip to Mcminnville area and I searched for somewhere nice that we could eat. I came upon Cypress and although the menu seemed limited at first, their options were all intriguing.
We set a reservation for 5:30 on a Saturday. When we walked in there was only one older gentleman in the whole place so we were greeted promptly and sat immediately. I was wondering that since no one was there, that I perhaps made a mistake. That was NOT the case.
Plants lined the ceiling and the bar and made the space beautiful and inviting. Very nice ambiance!
We started with a special appitizer, Halloumi cheese and sweet potatoes. Oh man, absolutely incredible flavor and texture. That season and sauce on these were spectacular. If they are offer this, get it!
We then had their seasonal salad which also was fantastic! Light and flavorful and we ate every bite.
She got the salmon and I got the short rib and a side of brussel sprouts to share. All were incredible. The flavor experience here is off the charts. We kept saying how amazing the meal was all throughout the evening.
I had 2 old fashions and my beauty had 2 paper planes. Both cocktails were far above average. They were excellent!
You can’t have a great overall experience without a fantastic server. Harmony was amazing! She checked in on us regularly ensuring everything was good and filling our waters. By this time the place was filling up with guests but we still had the same level of service. Thank you, Harmony.
The pricing is what you would expect for an amazing meal. It was just over $200 including top for 4 drinks, 2 entrees, 1 appetizer, 1 salad, 1 side. It was so worth it!
This was an incredible meal that my wife and I really enjoyed! Thank you, Harmony and thank you Cypress. Don’t you go anywhere. We will be back next time we are down this way.

We wanted to like Cypress, but, boy, they couldn’t get out of their own way. We had a reservation (for four adults) which we confirmed earlier that day from their text prompt. We arrived on time, and they shared that they didn’t have our table ready. They invited us to sit in their waiting area (the lobby of the hotel they’re attached to) while our table was becoming free. They offered to get us drinks from the bar while we waited and that alone took 20 minutes. Five minutes later (25 minutes AFTER our reservation time), we were brought to our table. Needless to say, we were disappointed. We were put at a high top table on a side shoot of the restaurant. Not only was it next to their bar service station, but also next to the self-service fridge for anyone to access. Our server then rushed us and became borderline pushy as we ordered various plates (there was no request we put our order in all at once or that we had a designated time duration at our table). We got the halloumi special (smaller portion than expected), olives (came out warm which was a nice touch), and lamb and chicken kebobs (one each; the chicken was super dry). We forwent the dessert since we felt nothing was drastically going to improve. All in all, not a great meal or experience which was a big bummer.

We were a group of 10 and got a private set menu for lunch. The room was beautiful, service was excellent and the food was absolutely divine. The chef had used vegetables which aren’t the most standard ones you see in menus to create dishes and flavors which were so unique and fresh. Highly recommend this spot!

Delicious food. I was surprised just how flavorful the food was. I got the cypress bowl and it had everything I wanted and the tastes all complimented one another. Definitely recommend if you like or want to try Mediterranean food.

We enjoyed a very lovely dinner. We were able to sit in the bar area as we had no reservations. Our server was so delightful and sweet and had great recommendations. Everything we ordered was very tasty and beautifully presented. The atmosphere feels intimate and classy. We would definitely come back! Highly recommended.

Phenomenal food, excellent service, and amazing staff! The Salmon, Shrimp, Dolmas, Tumeric Rice, Falafel, and Lamb were some of the best prepared Mediterranean dishes we’ve had in a long time, incredible and done superbly well! The deserts; Greek doughnuts and Baklava were the perfect end to our dinner and our server was very polite, friendly, professional, and made our experience at Cypress very enjoyable

This place is absolutely incredible! Every single dish we tried blew us away. We started with the Mezze plate, which was the perfect opener—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. For our mains, we had the hangar steak and the seared salmon, and both were truly outstanding. We added the seasonal salad and the beets on the side, and they were just as delicious.
We finished with the house‑made ice cream, which was unbelievably fresh and creamy. The service was fantastic, the ambiance was warm and inviting, and the food was genuinely out of this world. Highly recommend!

Every dish and cocktail I’ve enjoyed at Cypress has lived up to previous visits (there have been many). The freshly baked pita bread and dips are what I continue going back for time and time again. If you haven’t tried their muhammara, labneh + hummus – walk, don’t run! They truly do the best mezze in the Willamette Valley.

I came into Cypress on Valentine’s day while on a day trip to Mcminnville and was absolutely thrilled with my experience! While I am often unimpressed with restaurant service nowadays, Cypress was the complete opposite. My server was attentive and personable, the food came quickly and tasted perfect. It was the perfect Valentine’s date! I highly recommend Cypress and definitely order the Tiramisu!!

Loved everything about this place! The staff was so friendly, the restaurant had a warm, cozy vibe, and the food was just phenomenal. I had the chicken gyro pita wrap (no feta), and it was the best gyro I’ve had by far. My husband tried the Mediterranean burger, giving it a solid 8/10, especially with the ketchup. Great portions, amazing flavors—can’t wait to come back!
