Breakfast portions are generous, pricing is fair, and the staff? Exceptionally friendly and efficient. It’s rare to find a quiet spot like this where you can truly unwind while enjoying good food and great service.
Afterward, I took a leisurely stroll along the nearby path, passing vibrant yellow night primrose, lush gardens, and spotting plenty of birds along the way. It was truly relaxing—magical, even. This place has quickly become one of my new favorite hidden gems.
Prepackaged sandwiches and wraps were fine.
Nice lake views and we came while they were doing dragon boat racing, a nice bonus.
Outdoor seating available. You can order from the window and/or from a more traditional menu. They have a different breakfast menu as well. The clam chowder was so-so but the tuna sandwich was good, which I got on wheat bread instead of rye. Service was spotty.
They have desserts as well including: praline and caramel ice cream, cookies and cream ice cream, fruit sorbet, chocolate cake.
Nice view of the lake from the tables. The patio has been expanded.
My friend ordered the corned beef hash and I had the veggie wrap with fries. We also had mimosas in which they have the mini Korbels.
Even though it was a Sunday, we were able to be seated fairly quickly after arrival. At times, it was hard to flag down a staff member for ketchup, jam, etc. but was eventually able to get what we needed.
We order OJ. Seemed like it was freshly squeezed. A little tart and full of pulp. ($3 per glass)
For breakfast, we ordered: steak (medium) and eggs (scrambled) which came with toast and hash, Denver omelet also with toast and hash, and a presidential breakfast. Presidential breakfast included 3 pancakes, eggs, hash, choice of toast or English muffin, and a choice of protein: ham, sausage, bacon. The bacon was just as I liked, crispy and not greasy. I asked for soft scramble but it was overcooked. The steak was cooked will done even though we asked for medium, it was tasty. Classic Denver omelet. Cheesy and the filling was plentiful.
Everything was delicious. Each dish is an average of $17. Atmosphere is nice, it’s quiet.
Still delicious food and still amazing ambience. They’ve updated the outdoor seating that allows you to sit in the sunshine and watch the golfers walk by. Such a peaceful course with the water view in the Cypress trees. Highly recommend it! Reasonable prices and generous portions.
