I like going out for breakfast especially on the weekends. I tried a new place for me called Cynthia’s in East Hampstead, NH. The place is clean and quaint. Very Homey. I ordered the Irish Benedict (called something else as they have all these cute names for their dishes. This was probably one of the best Irish Benedicts I ever had. The corn beef hash is homeade and is mostly all corn beef. Not too many fillers. SOOOO Good. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good breakfast. Nice menu choices as well.

The moment I stepped in, I felt welcome. Cynthia rushed around checking in on all the tables and making sure people were content. The staff was fantastic, always smiling when walking around, and I could tell they enjoyed their work. I sat at a random booth but it was recently wiped down and cleaned. Everything was spotless.
While the place was busy at 9am on a Saturday morning, I didn’t feel rushed and I took my time order. A carnivore three egg omelet, and I couldn’t help myself from trying the best breakfast burrito. I didn’t believe anything could outshine the service, but the first bite into that burrito was like I was a child again eating a home cooked breakfast from my grandmother.
I must’ve had two or three refills and while I stuck around chatting with my company for about thirty minutes after I finished, I never felt like a burden or unwelcome. Cynthia and her staff were fantastic, and it was easy to see how much she cares about her business and the quality of food and service she provides.
On the way out, after running nonstop the entire time I’d been in the diner, she was finally taking a breath. She had sat down with what looked like some regulars and was having a conversation with a big smile on her face. She noticed my company I were leaving and she made a point to thank us for coming as we were at the door.
It’s not close, I drove an hour to visit my friend and this was just a random stop, but today, the road less traveled, for me, made all the difference. I’ll be back to try the rest of the menu, it was hands down the best breakfast I’ve had in years.

We were so excited to try the new breakfast/lunch restaurant Cynthia’s, located in Colby Corner, 259 Main St, East Hampstead. We all know Cynthia from her having worked at Early Bird for eons. Well, all that experience paid off, because her menu is great, the food is extra yummy, and of course the service and friendliness is outstanding. I love all the personality Cynthia bring to each table as well with her signature color (pink!) and her little details you can help but notice. If you want a great breakfast, head on over! We’ll be back soon

We love Cynthia’s! I have been a few time and mostly have got take out over the past year. 2 weeks ago I took my daughter there for here 3rd birthday breakfast. Cynthia was so sweet with her and really helped make it special. She brought out a birthday table cloth and gave her a little bowl of whipped cream with a candle. My daughter thought it was amazing!
The food is delicious as well, I love their hollandaise sauce

Nice little place. I had the crispy chicken sandwich wfrys. Wife had the texas hamburger. Grandson had toasted cheese whomemade chips. Our food was good, Homemade chips were good. If i give a little criticism the frys should be crispy. Our server is the owner. She was pleasant and welcoming. Fast service.
Stopped in second time ordered same food and it was not the same.
My chicken sandwich was dry over cooked and came without maonase. Lettuce was all stem no leaf. Ordered frys extra crispy didn’t matter just didn’t like them. My wife’s hamburger was little to be desired.

Exceeded expectations. Had omelette and eggs Benedict. Omelette wasn’t dry, just big enough, ingredients weren’t skimped on,.etc. Service was pretty quick and in no way felt we were being rushed. Also overall look inside and atmosphere was pleasant. Will definitely become our regular location to go to.

Cynthia was a delight. Food was tasty, enjoyed our meal and our surroundings. Cynthia supports our service men & woman and not just by her decorations. If you find yourself in the area I highly recommend dropping in and discover this very homey local eatery.

This was the best tasting breakfast I can remember eating. I got the Alex something or other, with a grilled cornbread bottom and sausage and poached eggs with hollandaise sauce and it was astounding. When I say this, it’s very clear the food was cooked by people who like making food. That’s not always the case.
Cynthia runs this place well and it’s clear she knows the flow of managing orders, keeping her cooks on a level pace, and keeping people happy at a lot of tables at once. She’s the entire engine of how this thing thrives.
The place opens at 5:30am which is great for early risers, too.
The decor is interesting, but I suspect Cynthia knows her crowd very well and while this is my first time here, I suspect there are many regulars who come here often. And I will say that we were treated very well.
