This was our very first visit to Cyclone, and it definitely won’t be our last! Me and my husband stopped by on our way home from visiting our daughter in Chester, and from the moment we walked in, the atmosphere just felt good. The staff was so kind, welcoming, and really attentive. Our food came out hot and delicious — everything was made just right.

The food is so good. Excellent service as well! We had the fried green tomatoes, which includes their homemade dip (sour cream and hot sauce). Also had the chicken salad with fries- very fresh and tasted like food should taste. Nothing was overly salted or ridiculously seasoned. My mom had the hot chicken sandwich and she loved it. I met the owner and he was very personable. Everyone there was super friendly. The building could use some updates, but the food and service were stellar. Don’t judge the building, go on inside and get some great food. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Chester!

The cyclone is a great restaurant that has been in Chester for many years and has consistently produced great food. Their baked potatoes are delicious, especially with their own sour cream that is a must have. They have many choices on the menu from Southern cooking, to pasta dishes to sandwiches. Everything I’ve ordered has been great. Even their tea is awesome. You definitely have to check out the cyclone when in Chester!

Great food, friendly staff and reasonably priced, you can’t beat the Cyclone Restaurant in Chester. I dined-in on a Thursday at about 5:30pm and was served quickly and efficiently by a nice young lady. I had ordered the barbecue plate with seasoned fries, and fried okra – it was priced at 7.95. My companion ordered the same, approximately 10 minutes later the meal arrived, although I’m 99% sure the Okra was from Sysco, it wS cooked to perfection, and the BBQ, was excellent. Total including tip for 2 people, $20 (we had brought our own beverages). I highly recommend this place for anyone passing through or visiting Chester, I will definitely be back

Building isn’t somewhere you’d stop without checking a review or being a local. It could use some updates and a good cleaning, but nothing that stood out.

First time ever eating here. So friendly & polite!! The food is good down home cooking. I had country fried steak with real mashed potatoes ( chunks of potatoes present) & fried squash. Hubby had the catfish nugget dinner with slaw, fries & hush puppies. He also got a side of lima beans. Of course he saw the homemade cereal treats & had to have some to take home. He liked the lucky charms one. Took family members to this place & they love it!

This is my Grandma’s favorite restaurant in town. I have dined with her here a couple times when I’m in SC visiting. The menu has a large variety, the prices are very reasonable and the staff is always friendly. My grandma’s favorite is their homemade pies and cakes. It’s always something different like last week’s mandarin orange cake which she enjoyed!

Cyclone never disappoints. Portions are plentiful and food delicious. We enjoyed fried chicken with mac ‘n cheese & collards this visit. Owner, Mary, and her team are friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Cyclone for your next visit to the Chester area.
