Cyclo had been recommended to me. I got a takeaway as I wasn’t hungry when passing.
I got tofu and veggie noodle soup.
It was an explosion of flavours and textures, a delight to eat and filling.

A great Vietnamese restaurant for a comforting meal. The pho noodles were especially good — rich, clean broth and perfect for hangover recovery. Light but deeply satisfying.

This is a simple, no-frills restaurant. While the setting isn’t the most comfortable, the food definitely makes up for it. We had the beef pho and special fried rice. The fried rice was full of wok hei and packed with flavor, and the pho was equally delicious with a rich, aromatic broth.

The soup base for the pho was pretty good but thought the meat was a bit tough. Overall it was a hearty meal and was pleasantly surprised with the overall quality of the food. Staff there were friendly and we were taken care of. The pork was a bit too salty for our liking as well but that could just be personal preference.

Great food! One of the best pho in Hobart. I went there with my friend today and we truly enjoyed the meal. A big thank you to the restaurant staff for bringing us such delicious food and warm service.

Unfortunately, we had an uncomfortable experience with two customers sitting next to us. While we were quietly speaking our own language, they began to mock and imitate us in a way that felt disrespectful and unwelcoming. It was also upsetting because it felt disrespectful to the restaurant owners and staff who work hard to share their culture through food.

I hope everyone can show basic respect for different cultures and languages. The food itself was amazing, and I really appreciate the effort from the team.

Excellent food that’s consistent with quality.
We visit both Cylco restaurants while in Hobart. We had to eat there again after we enjoyed the 1st visit so much.
Easily rate their Pho and banh mi in our top 3 ever, and we’ve been to vietnam and enjoy Vietnamese foods in the family

Food was ok. Highlight for me were the Pork Spring Rolls. The Lemongrass Beef Noodle Salad and Beef Pho were good and had their respective flavours.
The let down were the Rice Paper Rolls. We ordered the Pork, the Duck and the Prawn. Pork was the best but the other two were disappointing as we couldn’t even taste the main ingredient and lacking flavour. Lucky for the Peanut Sauce but even that only had very little Hoi Sin. Overall, I think the Rice Paper Rolls were too packed with noodles giving the perception of value for money but missing pickled carrots, fresh cucumbers and Vietnamese Mint which could’ve improved the rolls. For $5 a pop for one, you would expect just a little more flavour.
The service without a doubt was great.
This place is BYO which is a plus.
