I was not feeling well during our visit, and she immediately offered help with such kindness and care. When I unexpectedly started my period, Flor went out of her way to find three different feminine products for me to choose from. I was truly touched by her thoughtfulness.
She was also very patient and friendly while explaining the menu and recommending the restaurant’s signature dishes. It was our first time in Miami, and thanks to Flor, we felt so welcomed.
We already love this city and will definitely come back. Thank you, Flor, for your warmth and professionalism.
The menu is broad and varied, as you can see from the photos, but not every dish lived up to expectations:
– The tacos were disappointing. The fish taco was dry, and the beef taco was overloaded with sauce, which seemed more like an attempt to mask the flavor than enhance it.
– The ceviche trilogy, already priced at $49, was a letdown when served with basa instead of corvina. To make matters worse, corvina was available only at an additional charge. For a restaurant at this price point, I find it unacceptable to substitute with a lower-quality fish and then ask for extra payment for the better option.
– The rice and risottos were solid, flavorful, and well-prepared.
– The branzino, while nicely cooked, felt clearly overpriced.
The restaurant itself is beautiful, with a pleasant atmosphere, but it gives the impression that — as part of a franchise — it sometimes struggles to maintain the standards it promises.
Had an unforgettable dinner with my wife at CVI.CHE 105 in Coral Gables—easily one of the best Peruvian spots we’ve ever tried! Our server Michel was an absolute gem: warm, attentive, and spot-on with every recommendation. He guided us through the menu like a pro, and every dish exploded with fresh, bold flavors. The ceviche with fried shrimp was perfection and out of this world.
Michel made the night feel personal and fun—his passion for the food is contagious. We’re already planning our next visit. If you’re in Coral Gables, skip the rest and head straight here. Thank you, Michel, and the entire team!
The octopus leg was excellent: very soft, tender, and full of rich, savory flavor. The seafood paella was also quite rich, with a strong seafood taste that we enjoyed. However, we weren’t a big fan of the white fish in the paella — it was a bit dry and slightly tough.
I had the steak, and while the pasta served on the side was delicious — very aromatic and rich in flavor — the steak itself was disappointing. It was overcooked, and parts of it that were in contact with the pan were slightly burnt/charred, which gave it a bitter taste when chewing.
Service could also be improved. My water glass was empty for quite a while, and no one came to refill it until I asked.
Overall, the food was mostly good, with highlights like the octopus and paella, but the steak and service brought the experience down a bit. A solid 4 out of 5.
