We have been here 3 times with my brother and sister in law. The first & second times were really good. This past Friday night it was so bad it was like we were at a completely different restaurant. The tables seemed much closer together than before, ALL of our meals were cold and not cooked well. My brother got a steak and it was so bad he couldn’t even cut through the fat, which there was a lot of, with his knife. My risotto was way, way too al dente, my sister in laws Chilean bass was very overcooked. The apps were the best part of the meal. We actually told our server, nice guy, we were disappointed and he apologized and offered the obligatory dessert. There was also a very drunk lady at the table behind us. I know it’s a casino but she was over the top to the point that I can’t believe they kept serving her! She disturbed every body around her. Our server was good but it took forever for our food to come out which explains the fact it was not hot. At the prices they charge I can’t see going back if this is how it’s going to be in the future. I’ll go to Duke’s here in Carson City.

Came here for their $29 Sunset special menu and was surprised with how generous their portion are. We only ordered 2 sets for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) and we only managed to finish the grilled top sirloin. Still have 1 out of the 3 pork medallion (good but wasn’t as special as expected), half of twice baked potato (wish the skin is crispier) and half of au gratin potato. We’re so full that we had to have the dessert to go (make sure to ask for utensils). Service was really slow though. Food only came out 40min after we ordered. I even had time to check in for my room first and order fried chicken at Katie’s next door for only $8.99! I’d probably stick with Katie next time since they’re cheaper and faster.

Great specials, as advertised. Steak prepared perfectly. Waiter, Hunter, and bus boy, Moose, were awesome, BUT the time to get the meals was atricious, over 30 minutes for each course! Atmosphere appeared good on admission, BUT tables too close! We were seated next to a table of 6 drunks, loud for 2 hours, totally spoiled our experience. Not going back until table arrangement improves.

We went to a steakhouse and had salmon and pork, but both were great. We also made it in time for the Sunset Special, look into it, really good value. $11.50 Martini, $8.00 Buillitt old fashioned also hard to beat. Staff from the bartender to the servers were friendly, efficient but not hovering.

CV Steak is part of the Carson Valley Inn Casino. It’s nice inside if you can sit in the back and not have to look at the bright slot machines. The service was prompt and friendly. The dinners were delicious! The Gilled Jumbo Shrimp was wonderful! A very nice experience!

I had full intentions of taking pictures of our meal, but when it all came out, it looked so good we both had to get after it. The service was also great the whole night. It was also great to see it packed full with families and friends having a great time! Great job!

We were a party of 5 with reservations, so no wait time. The Waiter and his Assistant were awesome, very attentive and professional. Unfortunately, we were seated so close to other tables that it was difficult. Two of us were touching chairs with the table next to us, very uncomfortable. I’m sure they were hearing our conversations just as easily as we heard theirs. They truly need to rethink their seating, even if they have to eliminate one or two tables. The food was fine, but the escargot was a great disappointment. The escargot was tiny, and I mean tiny, like extra small. For what they charge, the escargot should be extra large! Also, everyone likes taking time for a good meal, but the wait times for each course was overly long. Won’t go back until they upgrade appetizers, rethink the seating and become a little more expeditious

THe early dinner deal that run from 4:30 pm to 5:30 Pm is a killer deal. Yes, just for 1 hr, you get a house salad, entree and dessert for just $29! The entrees vatry from salmon, pork medallions, to beef stroganoff. Menu is posted on line. My fave are the pork medallions, so tender and tasty. The chocolate mousse is the best dessert, sooo smooth! Service is good and the bread is fantastic. I like that the butter is soft already for spreading. worth 5 stars for the price.

Atmosphere was great, it did not smell smokey. Service was amazing from Noah and waitress Michelle.
Food was good. The bread is hot and fresh. Crust is a little hard, wish it was a little softer.
The Nevada Grill was tasty, cooked to perfection.
The fettuccine alfredo left a lot to be desired.
Lava cake was basically from a box – not great.
Calamari was good and so was the filet mignon. We asked for medium rare and that is what we got!
Overall good experience and atmosphere. Walked out for less than $100 bucks
