Fantastic restaurant that exceeded all of our expectations. The menu is expansive and varied, with an excellent selection of both food and drinks. We tried the steak and shrimp, Buffalo wings, and Buffalo pizza, all of which were exceptional – some of the best we’ve ever had! The flavors were outstanding and the chef’s skill was apparent in every dish.

The restaurant itself is also very impressive, with a classy and clean atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our meal, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, Cutthroat Saloon is an ideal spot for anyone looking for delicious food, great drinks, and a memorable dining experience. We highly recommend it!

Stopped by Cutthroat’s Saloon for an after dinner drink and some dessert to bring back to the room. This establishment is located within the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe, so it makes for a very convenient spot to pick up food if you’re staying at the hotel. The restaurant is due a refresh, but I will say that our carmel fudge sundae tonight was out of this world!

I didn’t expect much, but was content with my food as was my partner. Easy, simple, no fuss – it worked. I ordered the chopped salad with fried chicken which was good, in fact there was so much I couldn’t even finish it. My margarita was better than expected. My partner ordered a burger, which was tastier than the burger I ordered from Lone Eagle and a whole cheaper. Our server was great – friendly dude and kinda funny.

In a jam, I’d come back.

Really nice staff. The place want too busy, we were seated immediately. The nachos were really good. Service was pretty good. Food cane out fast, a lot of TVs with sports playing and very close to the rooms so no need to walk a lot

Typical bar style food along with entrees we didn’t try. Everything was delicious but very overpriced. Fortunately we had $100 credit from the hotel otherwise we probably would not have eaten here

Everything was great, except for the overpriced AND below average food quality. This was the only restaurant on the Hyatt property we were disappointed with, unfortunately.

Maybe we ordered the wrong things ‍♂️

I had the most AWKWARD dining experience here. Our waitress was in a bad mood and made it a point to let us know…

She was slamming our plates down on the table and making weird comments / gestures. Storming off away from us all flustered.. she even dropped my credit card acting out.

The whole ordeal threw me off so bad that I forgot my credit card there mid vacation.

After a day of travel and an afternoon nap, we decided to stay close to the hotel for dinner.

Service was a little slow, but we were in no rush and didn’t mind.

I ordered the steak fajitas, with corn tortillas because of my gluten allergy. It was served with a side plate of sour cream, guacamole, diced tomatoes and a couple of limes.
I would have liked to have some shedded cheese, lettuce and salsa personally.
The food came out pipping hot, even the tortillas. The sizzling skillet had a rice, bean, corn mixture that was entirely over cooked, hard, burnt rice. I asked for another side, it was a lot better texturally but still bland and just not hitting the mark. Some cold wet salsa would have helped.
The steak itself was delicious, I ordered it medium rare, and it was well seasoned I asked for mushrooms in place of the Bell peppers it comes with and they kindly obliged.

My husband ordered the crispy fish tacos with a side of French fries. He didn’t care for the fries, but the tacos he really enjoyed! The tacos were battered and a nice large fish serving in each taco, topped with a chimichurri aioli, which we got an extra side of, it was good, but definitely mayo heavy.

Our server offered us a scoop of ice cream, for dessert, something he knew I could have– they dont offer any gluten free desserts on their menu. It was a kind gesture and very thoughtful.

The bar did look like a cool place to have a drink, maybe next time.

Mark is a great server, but the food is criminally overpriced for its quality. Cocktails/drinks from the bar were 90% ice. Wife took a few sips and there was already not enough left over for me to try. Recommend trying other food nearby.

The staff members gossip at the podium in front of the restaurant as if the customers at the bar can’t hear them… The best part is the topic of conversation: Customers who are currently in the restaurant!!

Don’t waste your money here!
