I took 2 bites of my burger and then went to see their reviews, knowing immediately it was going to be bad. Flavor is underwhelming and so is the amount and quality of meat for what you are paying, fries don’t have any salt.

My order was 25 for a burger and a shake. Excluding fries. This is insanity. I can go to McDonald’s, get a large meal and that includes a burger, fries and drink plus a milkshake for half that price or cheaper. And the crazy part is that McDonald’s tastes so much better, FOR CHEAPER. Lower your prices. Cause that’s ridiculous. I will not be returning to this establishment. Also for whomever reads this. This place is not worth your money.

It is really over priced but the fish piece was pretty big. It also felt like the burger was missing something. For airport food it’s typical.

Burger was ice cold, tots were cold. Food was horrible. Burger definitely precooked as it was ready 5 minutes after the order was placed. Why ask for a temperature if you are just going to ignore and serve a horrible cold precooked burger. When asked where it came from, I stopped people from going and spending their money.

Still a vegetarian and i tried the veggie burger here to. I must say it was pretty good. Quality products and the ability to customize your burger in any way you want makes it a great spot to eat. I didn’t really like the fries they were big, soft, and luke warm. The price is lofty in my opinion but like i said it was a pretty good burger.

You gotta get THIS airport food. The crew cooks it with love and joy.

The grilled chicken patty SAVED me; I now own a home, and am a model citizen after one big bite of onion avo chickie magic 😉

I got a breakfast burger here before a morning flight out of DCA. I used the QR code to order online. Everything was pretty seamless and it was 10 bucks for the sandwich, a little pricey but fair for being an airport and the size of the sandwich. The whole process took less than 10 minutes from scan to order in my hand. I did the breakfast burger and it was filling and everything was fresh. I would order again on future trips through DCA.

Ah, the fish sandwich at Custom Burger, nestled within the bustling Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. While the location may not evoke visions of culinary excellence, this unassuming eatery has managed to create a delightful surprise in the form of their fish sandwich.

As I took my first bite, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the fish. The fillet was perfectly cooked, with a crispy golden exterior that encased tender, flaky white flesh. It was a testament to the skill and attention to detail of the kitchen staff, who managed to achieve that delicate balance of textures.

The flavors were equally impressive. The fish had a mild, delicate taste that was complemented by a hint of tanginess from a zesty tartar sauce. It was a harmonious marriage of flavors that showcased the freshness of the fish and the well-balanced condiments.

But what truly set this fish sandwich apart was the attention given to the bun. Unlike the generic, mass-produced buns that plague many airport eateries, Custom Burger had taken the effort to source a soft and fresh bun. Its pillowy texture provided a comforting base for the fish, allowing all the flavors to meld together harmoniously.

While the fish sandwich at Custom Burger may not transport you to the shores of a coastal fishing village, it offers a pleasant surprise amidst the hustle and bustle of the airport. It is a testament to the fact that even in unexpected places, culinary gems can be found.

If you find yourself traversing the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and yearn for a satisfying meal, look no further than Custom Burger’s fish sandwich. It is a reliable option that will satisfy your cravings, providing a brief respite from the chaos of travel and reminding you that good food can be found in the most unexpected of places.

If the burger didn’t taste so good, I probably wouldn’t eat here again. Backhanded comment right? The ordering via QR code is a joke, especially for the 3 elderly people I saw struggling to figure things out. I digress. I ordered a double w bacon. Got a single. Sent back. Got a double burger with no bacon. Sent back. Got the bacon. Almost missed the flight and should have got a refund for all the back and forth.

Terminal 1 in Reagan is pretty terrible (and OTG is even worse), so I had pretty low expectations going into my order at Custom Burger. But when I saw the patty go onto the grill, so freezer burned that it had a significant curve to it, I knew I was going to still be let down. I dont think even my photos do it justice in showing how gray the patty was— and it tasted worse than it looked. Think possibly-spoiled middle school cafeteria food, all for the low price of >$20 with a side of onion rings.

Onion rings were pretty good (although they didn’t come with the sauce indicated on the menu).
+1 star because the woman who served me was pretty nice, and service was quick.
