Went with a friend and ordered two scoops of a Perry’s (less than $5) and it was the perfect cool down treat! The service was prompt and the staff professional. They also have an large food menu, but that will have to be for another visit/review. The parking lot can feel a little cramped, but it’s a nice spot with outdoor seating.

Custard Corner & Grill is a classic custard and burger stand that hits all the right notes. We absolutely love the custard—it’s hands down the best in Buffalo. Their food is pure roadside Americana: burgers and fries that can’t be beat, served fresh, fast, and at prices that won’t break the bank.

The location is super convenient, with easy on/off access, and it’s the kind of place where you can grab your food and just hang out on the back of your car or truck. Or, if you want a change of scenery, take a quick drive to nearby LaSalle Park and enjoy your meal on the shore of Lake Erie.

Whether you’re a local craving a classic comfort meal or just passing through Buffalo in search of a quick bite, Custard Corner & Grill is a true roadside gem.

I was really disappointed with the way the “Boss” of the place handle my critic. Even more dissatisfied with the way the Italian sausage was today. I asked if I can just get refunded because of the way it tasted from the one bite I took and how hard it was, not only that but I have never seen a sausage pink in the middle the way it was. The “Boss” then proceeded to say how she baked it for an hour and then grilled it, last time I check sausages can be cooked in 10-15 on a grill and not come out looking like that, Of course I didn’t take a picture before I place ketchup and Mustard on it but it definitely looked pale but I wasn’t thinking anything of it. I was going to take it back but then I realize never mind I’ll just throw it in the trash, I felt bad because I didn’t pay for it, a co worker paid for it today and I just didn’t want her money going down the drain. I would never order food from here again.

Definitely my happy place and a West Side staple! I go all the time for ice cream and to enjoy the summer weather on their picnic tables. It’s also located adjacent to a lot of parks.

Great staff they handled high volume quickly! The pup cups were a hit! I really enjoyed having a butterscotch dipped cone for the first time in a long time! Pizza rolls are also great!

After visiting Niagara Falls, we made a quick stop for hotdogs, burgers and custard. The burger reminded me of a homemade burger in town from my country. Great location and the outdoor seating was very convenient.

Review from 2021:

I won’t be coming here anymore, they are more expensive every year than anywhere else, and very stingy with toppings, even after you pay extra. Consistently stingy.

They have a good location and capitalize on that.

Review from 2018:

I come here a few times a week, and the staff are friendly, and happy to customize my ice cream orders. I find the custard better then Anderson’s, and the park is nice to walk through while eating.

BTW, the grill food and fries are phenomenal, too. Sorry no photos….I ate my ice-cream way too fast

We chose to give Custard Corner a try instead of going to our usual ice cream spot because Custard Corner also sells food. After standing in line for a few minutes, I noticed a small typed sign that said “Grill closes at 8” and it was 8:05pm. Nowhere on their website does it say that and we wouldn’t have wasted our time going there if we knew this. I’m assuming this is a new policy because a few other people before and after us tried to order food as well. Also, they don’t offer a kiddie-size for the ice cream but the servings are really small so the small was a good size for my 2.5 yr old.
