It’s very good, they’ve held a high standard for quite a long time there. Definitely a hidden gem in the larger area.

I’ll preface this by admitting I was raised on Texas barbecue, so I am totally biased. Stopped here while on a roadtrip, and after reading google reviews. Sunday afternoon.
I ordered a LEAN brisket sandwich and fries. Apparently, their brisket is pre-cut and they do not separate lean from moist. (I wish the server would have clarified) Instead, it looked like the precut beef is soaking in what I could only hope are it’s own juices/fat. After pulling off all of the fatty pieces of brisket, it was just an okay sandwich. No strong smoke flavor. Fries were double fried and really good.
Husband ordered ribs and brisket. Again, with the brisket. Ugh. The ribs, tho, bones pulled out with some work, but extremely dry meat. If “Ribs” is in your restaurant name, it’d better be the show stopper. Mac & cheese was really good tho.

Service. The young lady at the front counter. Wow. Highly lacking in customer service skills. Very matter-of-fact and unhelpful. We were considering ordering some of the smoked salmon to-go, husband asked if he could sample a small taste. Her response… a very firm “no” with no other explanation. I mean, I get it that we aren’t in Texas, here, but when you’re potentially about to sell a couple pounds of smoked salmon (on top of 2 dine-in meals), wouldn’t you accommodate the customer?

Vast majority of their business is takeout because the place literally only has three tables. We were lucky when we arrived because there was an open table and we were able to eat in. My husband ordered the brisket sandwich and I ordered the 1/4 chicken and 1/4 rack of ribs combo. Everything was served up hot and fresh and was fantastic. We will definitely be coming back.

First time getting food from here and we will definitely be back. We have driven by so many times and talked about stopping. We are so glad we finally did. The food was top notch. The cashier very friendly. We got the nachos, 1/2 chicken and ribs, macaroni salad, and gumbo. With the chicken and ribs we got coleslaw and beans. Everything tasted so good. Portions were great sizes. The prices were very reasonable.

The food was ok wasn’t like good but average. The Mac and cheese has no taste at all but the people are super nice! The bone in wings are really dry and can’t eat them. Maybe next time we will have a better experience!

Amazingly tender ribs and chicken. The slaw and baked beans were scrumptious too! Had a chicken berry salad as well. Very nice amounts of everything! If you don’t want to sit in a tight area. It’s worth it to get it to go!

Easily one of the top BBQ places in the area. Meats are cooked slow over wood, they make their own rubs and sauce, they even smoke their own chipotles. And they do wood fired pizza, too! Not long on atmosphere, or room for dine-in, just a couple tables. But the food’s great, from BBQ to sides, pizza to the fried seafood.
We had an order screwed up once, wrong toppings on a pizza. We called, because we thought we might’ve got someone else’s, but they wouldn’t accept anything less than giving us a credit for a free pizza! And then remembered it immediately three weeks later. Friends for life.
Go to Curt’s Smokin Ribs. You will not regret it.

It’s pretty pathetic as far as bbq goes on the east coast. They serve everything in styrofoam and plastic, the brisket isn’t even sliced, it’s minced, and their ribs aren’t even remotely normal in regards to any standards you’d find in rib competition. Typically ribs should be sliced and be soft, but not lose they’re shape or texture, but these are crusty and the skin is separated on the outside and the inside is soft and separated and doesn’t have any spice or flavor. The sides are what you’d get from a supermarket, and if you ask about all the prize pigs on the walls they say they don’t even know when that’s from but they don’t do that anymore. See,s like a place that was good and it was sold and they lost their mojo. I’d never eat here again. Maybe I’m biased having lived in Texas and Tennessee.

Food is always scrumptious but I can honestly say in years of consistent visits to this store, I had the best Customer Service I have ever had! The gals Raine & Becca helped me with educated menu choices and had great attitudes and efficiency.
Trey made a fabulous Greek Salad that my neighbors could not believe came from a BBQ Joint !! I asked the staff for their names I just HAD to give a grand review!
What a Gem of a staff and they even told me to come back and try the new Salmon dish on the menu well I will be back soon to try and a handful of neighbors are going today just for that Greek Salad and the new seafood dishes! I am impressed

Stopped by here, and I was not disappointed! I got the BBQ Trio (Pulled pork, boneless ribs, and pulled chicken) I subbed the chicken for brisket for an extra $2 or something. Totally worth it! My favorite was the pulled pork. Next time I’m going for the pulled pork sandwich. can’t wait to go back!
