I noticed a previous review of Curts referring to the dining room being empty and the food being tasteless. Every time I’m there it’s packed and the food is delicious. I guess some people just don’t know good food when they are use to eating at some other establishments.

I first heard of Curt’s based on an editorial article in the local newspaper a few years back giving good reviews on their fried chicken and decided for lunch to give it a try. Going inside, I felt welcomed with the homey atmosphere that included retro memorabilia on the walls and kind customer service. I ended up getting 2 main dishes, country fried steak and a fried chicken breast, and for my sides green beans and squash casserole. Both of my mains were well breaded, juicy and delicious. The sides also were just as good being well seasoned and filling. The only downside that I have is that they’re only open for breakfast and lunch as they close at 2pm. But besides that, I was quite impressed with what Curt’s had to offer. Would love to tryout their breakfast another time.

I’ve eaten here many times for breakfast and once or twice for lunch. I’ve always enjoyed it. The food and folk are great. The people are always friendly. Biscuits are soft and warm. Eggs are nice and fluffy. And they are one of the few places in Hall County that does large smoked and breakfast sausages that are scrumptious. Only negative is their coffee. Not sure what they do, but it never tastes right, even when being a blend I use at home and like.

I’d heard about Curt’s and came to find out. Saw that a complaint made in the past was not enough parking/parking lot space. Well, it’s true. I took that as a sign of the possible goodness waiting for me inside! I was right.
Without a doubt, the best country breakfast I’ve had in a while. Cafeteria style breakfast. Grab your tray, silverware, and napkins. Follow down the line and the person attending will fill your plate with whatever you choose. ALL of it looked good!
And at today’s standards, the price was great. The plate in my photos was under $12.
You can spend that easily for less quality/quantity junk breakfast at an outside chain breakfast.
Curt’s employees are wonderful, professional, and super friendly.
This is my new go-to breakfast spot.

Just discovered Curt’s! The food is great, so is the service and the warm, country, cafeteria atmosphere. The staff is friendly, down home and very personable and welcoming. The food is served up hot and fresh, cafeteria style, and it’s cooked homemade using country style recipes. Curt’s is just one of those gems that you’re lucky to discover and you want to go back to. Very highly recommended! I will definitely be back for more and will tell my family and friends. Love Curt’s! A+, 5 stars, Yummmm!

While visiting Gainesville, I did a search for restaurants near me. This was one of the ones that came up. The moment I got there I knew I made the right decision. It was packed with locals. We got 3 bacon, sausage, egg and cheese biscuits and a cinnamon roll. They were all very very good. I highly recommend this place for cleanliness and great food.

Today’s food was excellent and consisted of county fried steak, collards and fried okra. I haven’t had a bad meal here during my 12 years eating lunch and breakfast at Curts. Consistently good.

Food was just basic and bland. Had to add lots of salt and pepper. Not as good as I remembered from years past. Disappointed it’s gone down hill.

I was recommended this place from a local who told me about this place. As a trucker from Nova Scotia, finding a hidden gem is rare in my travels.
I highly recommend it, just make sure you do not bring a trailer, you will not be able to park it here. Which is fine.

Decided to stop in for breakfast and it is worth it. It’s cafeteria style. You just tell them what you want and they place it on your tray. The food is your typical southern breakfast and it is good. Not over price. Plan on becoming a regular. The only knock is that parking is tight. Place fills up quick.
