Loved it here. What a fun experience. Gino the owner was a super nice guy and a character. He insisted I come behind the counter and video his delicious hot dogs he was preparing.

Loved the new york style hotdog stand feel. Great dogs, shake and cherry coke!. The burger and fries were both over cooked so I would not recommend. Great personality with owner and staff. Showing love for first responders and military by items donated. Patches etc. A must stop if you pass thru Cumberland, Md.

a nostalgic trip down memory lane– the staff was welcoming, charming and their personality livened up the whole establishment. This place clearly has plenty of regulars and its easy to see why. good food at a price you cant beat. no frills, just the way it should be. Stop in, you wont regret it.

This place is amazing. The food tasted great and it had very affordable prices. The owner is third generation and truly cares about his restaurant. The owner and stuff gave great service and gave me hilarious conversations as I ate. This is the only restaurant up to date that lets me eat the food, then mail the money when I get back home . They have piles of mail from people who ordered months ago. They are one of the oldest Ma and Pa restaurants in in the area.“ 6 inches is enough”

If you’re looking for fancy, this isn’t it—and that’s exactly why it’s perfect. Curtis Famous Weiners is a Cumberland classic. Simple, affordable, and consistently good.
The hot dogs are exactly what they should be: great snap, flavorful meat sauce, mustard, and onions done right. The fries are hot and crispy, and the whole place has that old-school, hometown feel you don’t find much anymore.
The service is friendly and welcoming, and it genuinely feels like one of those spots that’s been feeding generations for a reason. Bring cash, bring an appetite, and don’t overthink it.
A true local gem and always worth the stop.

Super friendly staff, really felt like I went back in time regarding the hospitality of customer service. Definitely recommend stopping in for their hotdog with meat and raw onion toppings. While simple it felt very nostalgic, so happy that places like these still exist!

Hands down the BEST customer service I have ever received from any business. These guys met us with a smiling face as soon as we walked through the door and followed with so much friendliness and kindness that you rarely find in the restaurant industry these days.

They were SO quick with GREAT food!! The fries are perfectly crispy and fluffy and the dogs have the perfect combo of toppings!

Great prices, great food, great experience!! 10/10 and thank you for being such a great stop on our road trip!!

Its incredible how horrible they can make a hotdog taste here. I had to spit mine out back into the bag it came in. There were some small hard bits in the sauce and it tasted like it was burnt.
I figured this place would be good based on the historical interior and simple menu. I couldnt have been more wrong. Stop in if you want a good laugh, otherwise you’d be better off getting a roller dog from the gas station.

Interesting place. Cheap burgers and hotdogs. Pretty tasty. I got the impression they are used to catering to locals, and kind of expect you to know what to order before walking up to the window.

The only guy working was pleasant enough, just not overly friendly. Not at all rude, but maybe not too excited to be working on a cold afternoon, two days before Christmas.

The food was made quickly, and it was hot and tasty.

It looks like they closed the dining room at the beginning of the pandemic, and three years later still haven’t opened it back up. I imagine it never will, which is a shame because that was a big part of the historic appeal to me. Without that, it’s kind of like a food truck with a ten square foot griddle and cash register. But they did have a tented outdoor area with a propane heater, so that was nice.

Overall, a decent experience and worth checking out if you’re wandering around downtown.
