This was my favorite North Indian restaurant near Claremont beginning of last school year. Great place if you want straight-forward creamy comfort food in a dhaba setting. These folks always ask whether I want garlic or plain naan, and I always ask for plain naan; they consistently make me garlic naan. Always a pleasant surprise. I don’t complain ’cause I’m not allergic. A 2 item combo with mango lassi comes out to just under $20.00 — just over that if you tip. You’ll be taken care of if you’re lacto-vegetarian.

I visited Curry Land Indian Food and absolutely loved it! I tried the Chicken Tikka Masala, Veg Korma, and Goat Curry Combo with Garlic Naan — everything was so flavorful and delicious. We came ordered chicken tikka, and the chicken has barely meat on it but full of bones instead. We ordered double ordered of it and the woman put so little meat. Never again, better spend your money in some real Indian food this place is a joke.

Service was good, the guy that took our order, turned out to be the cook as well! I understand it’s fast food, but don’t advertise fresh, most of the food were pre cooked and left out! We were the only ones there, so we heard our cashier/chef microwaving my chicken.. Brought out shortly after we heard the Ding noise from microwave.. Tandoori chicken was overheated and beyond ruberry and dry! Hate to leave a review like this, but explains why nobody was there. Taste was mediocre at best..

Owner is so nice! Offered samples right away, service was quick and on point. I got to try everything but got the tikka masala and goat curry which were so good. Stayed warm on the way home and the garlic naan is amazing!!

This is an awesome Indian place with fantastic portions of delicious food. Their samsos are crunch and fresh and a delightful indulgence. My family of three usually shares two three items combos and it’s a hearty amount for all.

My dad found saw this place on a list from KTLA news. Best 50 yelp reviewed restaurants in the area. Decided to try it out and WOW. Definitely 5 stars. Prices are amazing, food was delicious! And the guy behind the counter was so friendly, even gave us samples to try before we ordered. Highly recommend!!
It’s in a small lot, so parking isn’t ideal but still totally worth it. There’s a small seating area inside but if you prefer AC, I’d take it to go. We will be coming back soon.
