Definitely one of the best restaurants in the UK serving quality food with great taste and flavours. It’s different than traditional Indian restaurants you would find elsewhere. The restaurant specializes in Bangladeshi cousine. It has a cozy environment and warm staffs.

The foods were great. We tried several starters, mains and deserts. All were true to the Bengali tastes with a British twist.

Personally I would recommend papri chat and fuchka as starters (two of the most famous Bengali street foods). For mains, you can try Railway Lamb curry, King Prawn or the Kacchi Biriyani. I didn’t get any Kacchi biriyani outside Bangladesh at this quality.

For deserts, you can try traditional bengali sweets like Rosomalai (made with milk, Cheese Curds) – a must try; or Gulab Jamun (a traditional Indian sweet). The coconut ice-cream was great too.

For drinks – we tried Mango lassi, and cocktails. The mango lassi, made with Mango pulps, was great in flavours and soothing at the same time.

In a nutshell, Curryish was definitely one of the best Indian restaurants we ever tried in the UK. If you happen to be in or around Hull, this is a place you can look for to enjoy some great flavours. Enjoy!

7 of us ate here last night including two young children, food and service was fantastic, lovely touch by the restaurant as I asked for a children’s menu which they dont have but they cooked chicken nuggets and chips for the children. Ive eaten here before but my family have not, they were very happy with the food and will return for sure. My Chicken Tikka Madras was amazing as always. Well deserved five star review.

As a South Asian myself, I’ve found it hard to find good, authentic Indian cuisine in Hull, so I was pleasantly surprised once I’ve tasted the food here and was absolutely blown away as to how authentic and delicious it tasted! The atmosphere was amazing, and so was the music along with the staff, they were extremely helpful and polite! I cannot say enough about the food, you need to try for yourself, or else you’d be missing out. 10/10 would recommend and I would definitely come here again and again.

We booked dinner for seven people to celebrate a birthday, and our experience was perfect from the moment we stepped in the door. The cheerful and polite welcome was the prelude to a delicious meal, served in warm and comfortable surroundings, at exactly the right pace – not too fast, not too slow. The individual dishes were not only delicious, but served nice and hot, and looked lovely, too. I had the Railway Lamb Curry, which I thoroughly enjoyed. All my colleagues felt the same way; we all agreed that the attentive and polite waiter was one of the nicest we’d ever had. So, thank you, young man! And thanks to the chefs, too. We’ll be back.

A warm welcome from curryish for the whole family! Had two young children amongst our table of 7 and the staff were really pleasant and attentive towards us. The food was really good! The tarka Dahl was the best ive eaten and the beef in the saag curry i ordered was melt in the mouth!

Coconut ice cream for dessert was lovely too!

Only gripe get the loo area tidied up a bit! It let the atmosphere down.
