Have been going to Curry Twist for many years. Always so good, amazing flavours and quality. Very friendly too. Thanks.

My family had been going for years.
Knew the previous owner before it was sold.
The meals and the taste are not the same authentic taste it once had… I don’t know if they’re trying to appease the Canadian palate… but you had some many consistent regulars because of the flavour the seasoning. The taste!
The paneer isn’t like before,
The dhal is not thick like it once was,
The lamb not tender
Please… bring back the previous owner to properly train new staff on how to make the dishes without cutting corners. Or you will continue to lose customers you know by name…
You wonder why you haven’t seen some of them it’s because the taste has changed.
Trust me… you know our order the usual.
But we have to find other places now because it’s the 3rd time trying with no success. After 10+ years.
If nobody has told you consider this

I can’t attest to the service or atmosphere of the restaurant since I ordered on Uber, but the food was very disappointing and underwhelming. It all tasted like something I could easily prepare at home. The curries were very metallic tasting/earthy and not at all fragrant, layered, or rich. The garlic naan was flavourless. Overall, the textures and flavours were well below expectations.

Excellent salmon started. I don’t love fish, specifically salmon, but the sauce and spices covering this dish were phenomenal. One of the best things we had. We also got the homestyle curry and the chicken tikka masala. The tikka masala wasn’t my favourite. It was a little too sweet and too tomatoey. But the other curry was amazing and all of their breads (naan and roti) were delicious. Generous portions and great friendly service. We’ll be back.

Had dinner at this Junction gem last night! Absolutely amazing food! I had the shrimp biryani, it was the best I’ve ever had. Portions are very large, great value for the money! Couldn’t possibly eat it all so my leftovers are lunch for today! Definitely 5 stars in my book!

This place is an absolute dumpster fire pretending to be a restaurant. From the moment I walked in, it felt like I’d made a terrible life choice. The service was painfully slow, borderline disrespectful, and completely clueless — like the staff had never seen a customer before and were actively annoyed that we existed.

The food? Utter garbage. Bland, cold, poorly cooked, and somehow still overpriced. I genuinely don’t understand how you can mess up something this basic, but they managed to screw up every single dish. It tasted like it was made with zero care, zero seasoning, and zero shame. I’ve had better meals from a gas station at 2 a.m.

Honestly, this restaurant shouldn’t be open. It’s an insult to paying customers and to food in general. Save your money, your time, and your dignity — eat literally anywhere else. Never coming back. Ever.

This was an unplanned dinner decision that we were thrilled to have made! The ratings for this place don’t lie; greeted with a warm welcome & smile from all members of the staff upon entry, and leaving with a belly filled with delicious authentic meals, this place gets a 10 out of 10!

We tried the home style chicken curry (such a flavourful dish with a lovely coconut to it) the butter chicken (also incredibly flavourful and delicious) with garlic naan. Not only are their portions deceivingly large, their naan is made fresh in house and is to die for!!

I appreciated our waiter giving us the dish recommendations, he was spot on. This is a great place for a casual meal. Anyone who loves Indian dishes will surely find gold here!!

Had a problem with my order last week and they never called me back as promised. Ordered from them twice in one week and the quality and taste were night and day for the same dishes. I thought I had found my favourite west end place. But the same dishes went from very mild to so much spice i had a stomach ache that lasted days. inconsitent food and poor customer service.

What a nice little place in the High Park-Junction area. Didn’t know what to expect. Friendly staff, and really good food. Typical Northern Indian food. I had the Spicy Lamb Briyani and Garlic Naan. The samosa was tasty but not different than others. I tasted most of what our group had; Butter Chicken, Kebobs, and Curries were all equally delicious. Naan was made fresh per order. Little warning as most of the “mild” had some kick to it. My Spicy Lamb Briyani was as spicy as.expected and not for the faint of heart. A very likeable place in the west end without going to Little India in the east end. One little complaint is that they charged forty cents for each takeout container for the food we didn’t finish. Never ever seen this before, and not sure if this is a petty issue with me or the establishment.

What we ordered and our thoughts on the food:
– Garlic naan: nice and chewy, but could be rolled out a little thinner.
– Butter chicken: we were looking forward to this, but it had a very strong cardamom / clove taste to it, and is a tad too sweet.
– Home-style curry chicken: this was delicious, in contrast to the butter chicken.
– Samosas: this one is our favourite. we’re not typically fans of too much cumin, but the samosas were delicious when paired with the tamarind chutney. we will definitely be ordering this again!

Overall, not a terrible spot for indian take out. Might have some hit/miss but we’d love to order again and try out other dishes!
